This is a tool everyone should have really.. I just used my curve for the first time and went over some rougher areas in my neck. You don’t even need to be an athlete to enjoy this tool, people working in physically demanding jobs or even desk jobs with repetitive motions this tool can help loosen things up.

Awesome. I had a weight lifting accident when I was 16. Ever since then my mid back between the shoulder blades and right shoulder have been stiff and low mobility and pain. So I am excited to get my friend to do Gua Sha on my back for healing. I have had chiropractic care, and it never helped heal my issues in this area.

Is the redness a sign of blood flow or the sites of muscle tension? Can you please elaborate on the adhesions?
@surferman6197 жыл бұрын
Todd DeBato Basically the sites of redness are spots where blood was trapped. The tool breaks up those spots and it’s shows up very red.

I ended up watching your videos and I can't wait to try it out! Also, I wanted to know... does Gua Shua help relieve stress? thanks!!

How many treatments do you need? I just done with physical therapy and got back some range of motion with my rotator cuff (but not as much as where this guy started at in the beginning of your video). I am still working on strengthening with bands at home too, but would love to speed up my recovery if possible. Really appreciate this info my friend

Moderate pressure - imagine squeezing a peach to feel the ripeness, that's the amount of pressure we'd apply :)

Does it mean anything if a person doesn't get red?
@surferman6197 жыл бұрын
MIke DeVIta if you can feel abrasions as you go over the spots with the tool, then you know where to spend a little bit more time on. But redness and bruising should not be the goal. Some people will not turn red due to body type or skin color.

I had an instructor do Gua Sha on my traps using a jar lid, it hurt bad wile he was doing the treatment and OMG it felt like he burned me for the next 24 hrs, I had to take 3 Ibuprofen to sleep & it woke me every time I rolled onto that side. He will never do that to me again.

Does this work for shoulder tendinitis and rotator cuff tenderness? And does it help with shoulder instability?
@SidekickTool6 жыл бұрын
Hi Joshua, it should help with any associated pain, with regards to shoulder instability it would probably be better to work on your shoulder strength and mobility and seek out medical advice if you're really concerned.

What should people with dark skin look out for?
@SidekickTool Жыл бұрын
Avoid any bruising. However, as redness will be less obvious, using aspects such as medium pressure and general soreness may help during use.
