Absolutely, this is more for opening up my flexibility before I train. Again, if you want to increase mobility, you can do the same movements with weight in hand and work on building strength through a full range of motion.

Hey man, kind of random but you should look into getting some wide toe box shoes or barefoot shoes like vivobarefoot. You’ll love em and will help with ankle mobility and enhance your leg days.

That’s a good note, I don’t train calves but I do have some knee pain and I do dynamic stretching prior to -like the forward an side lunge stretches - but not doing calves prior could be my culprit with my knee pain. I’m going to try this

Unfortunately my little guy passed on to the next life earlier this year. It was a tough one but he left me a stronger man and I will always keep him with me 🕊️

Hey, if there’s no swelling and no pain, then usually it’s harmless from my knowledge. To help minimize things, I recommend doing 5-10 minutes of light cardio to warm up before training legs and slowly build up weight to your working sets on the compound movements (possibly 3 or more sets of 4-6 reps - more weight on warm up = less reps). Technique here is critical so remember to slow the negative and focus on command through the full range of motion.

Personally I’m using a brand called Podium, I look for about 150mg of caffeine, around 2 grams of Beta Alanine for fatigue, and 2-3 grams of L Citrulline for the pump
