Who’s credited with the lyrics?
@padgedunbar9400 Жыл бұрын
As far as I can remember, on the album it said for each song "written by The Traveling Wilburys". I don't think there was any individual credit, apart from Jeff Lynne and George Harrison as producers (under their Wilbury pseudonyms). My guess though is the lead vocalist on each song was probably the lyricist, and the lyrics in Tweeter And The Monkey Man are very Dylan-like, so I'd feel pretty strongly that he wrote it. It's only my guess though, and I stand corrected.
@boogar296011 ай бұрын
Both Tom Petty and Bob Dylan wrote the song. Bob Dylan got credit for writing most of it though.

Bob dylan sang most of the song. I can't imagine what it would be to have Jeff lynn and george harrisson and all the rest in the same room playing. I loved the Travelling Woolbury's. It's all right. My husband had commissary privileges at Cannon Air Force Base in Clovis New Mexico so we went over to Clovis at least once or twice every month. Norman Petty had his recording studio there and recorded numerous other artists songs including Roy Orbison and his band and Buddy Knox and The Rhythm Orchids. When my kids and I moved to Fritch Texas from Muleshoe Buddy Knox’s sister was my son’s fourth grade teacher 👩🏫, Verdy Brown. 😊😊😊😊
