Thats crazy. I thought the Traxx would have split. It did sound like the drive cog was spinning without the teeth engaged from the power. I haven't looked on Traxxas website in a while as I don't seem to break many parts anymore. I'm not sure if they even are selling spare parts for them yet (left this bit out and had to edit. Lol) Most of my RCs are pretty much completely aftermarket at this point. I still have most of the stock drivetrain in my TRX4 Bronco though. I've got the Traxx myself but have yet to run them. I got a PowerHD DW-25LV to put into the Bronco before I try the tracks. I also need a rear locker servo, but it still engages the locker. It just does the twitching pretty wildly. It is a buzz to describe it better. I was thinking about just putting a spool in the rear but I do like being able to disengage the locker.
@BuyitBreakitFixit5 жыл бұрын
Awesome comment my bro. The sport is the only one that has this much stock stuff on it as, like all, usually go with a better suited company for the part that broke. It says in the instructions that the tracks can slip if too much debris gets into them so I assume the same for over powering them. Hahaha thanks for watching
@bobharveythercanddiyguy223 жыл бұрын

To me this hobby is the ultimate for being able to tinker with everything from the laws of physics to modified ludicrous!!! And its pretty cheap!!!!! Go buy a new Harley Davidson, and a new four wheeler for every member of your house. Oh and a new camp trailer along with the new diesel truck to pull it... This hobby is the ultimate fun for some of us that can't afford building a $50,000 hot rod, that might be subjected to an occasional petal to the metal check. Every now and again... And if it should happen to grenade the Engine or Transmission, well then it becomes a fifty thousands dollar yard decoration... Well at least until enough money is saved to fix the last oops 😎
