I believe that Ren produces his own beats. A lot of the backing beats from Ren are completely different than anything else out there. For whatever reason, Ren references 90s all the time (he was born in the 90s). "What you Want" is a direct ode to the Beasty Boys "Intergalactic". While he's nodding to the 90s, the lines that he's spitting are all HIM. What separates Ren from a lot of the other rappers out there that you mentioned is......Ren can sing about real stuff but do it in an "Upbeat" manner (see "Power").

There also aren’t many hip hop artists who are also virtuoso level on electric guitar, bass and acoustic and I gather he’s also respectable on key boards although I haven’t seen him playing keyboards.

You're doing a lot of ren and nf recently. I think you will also enjoy bo burnham. I think a good place to start is "kanye rant (can't handle this)", and then his netflix special "inside". It's a comedy special, but it's very heavily mental health focused. A lot of people do single songs from inside, without the Context, and I think they lose a lot doing it like that. I saw a few reactors who went through the special in order, and cut a lot of the stuff in between the songs. But they saw it so they could reference it when discussing the songs. There's probably a dozen songs in there and every single one is fantastic. There's also an "out takes" video on KZbin with another hour and more songs. He also has a lot of older stuff, and it's a lot more teenager edgy. Definitely still good, but i think inside is bo at his best.
