2 1/2 cups pawpaw pulp / papaya
1 cup sugar
1 tsp lime juice
1 tsp pectin - found on amazon or zest from a lime of lemon
1 tsp vanilla essence or extract
green food colouring
1/4 cup granulated sugar for rolling

FYI I tried your recipe and learnt that you don't leave the skin on because your end product will be very bitter

Hi Natasha, the white bowl in this recipe was what I spoke about in the episode you showed recently with the set of kitchen cookware. Hope you remember..love those dishes. I never had paw paw balls...must try it...oh I made some of your coconut fudge yesterday..lol..it's almost done...making some more this weekend...thanks for the recipes..😎

It is not poisonous. Generations of Trini grow up on paw paw balls. Also green paw paw is a meat tenderizer. Green pawpaw is used natural medicine circles for generations. Also the product is being cooked. Do your research and ignore hearsay

In Tobago we boil the grated green paw paw first to remove the milk from it, squeeze out all the liquid then add all the other ingredient. So yes your version will be poisonous

I have never heard of pawpaw being poisonous. In other countries green paw paw is used as a meal and in medicine.
