Guys.. I've just sold my Indian scout and have bought a new T120 Black model.. Always thought it was too small as I'm the same height as The Ol' man but after watching yr video it persuaded me to try one out and it's a perfect fit! To others I probably look too big for it but that doesn't bother me, I'm always going to look big on most bikes.. So thanks guys 👍

Another great review! You have hit on a good formula with your tests, just the right amount of "chat" and footage of the bike in motion. I switch off other reviewers channels when all you get is a view of the clocks , looking at the road (through a screen if fitted) ahead and the reviewer shouting unintelligibly over wind/road and engine noise. Awesome review, again an honest review, thumbs up for the revelation 😂 it happens when you didn’t measure for long time 😂, anyway one of the best bike review channel, most of the channel only focus on specs which mostly we can get from google, but to have a channel actually mention how it would looks on tall guys like us on every bike, you are the first and how the bike maneuver from a tall rider perspective, most of the bikes looks good on shorter rider as long as the bike is bigger than the rider, but it’s not easy for tall riders nowadays, well a bike has to look cool when riding right? 😎 Can’t wait for the next one R18, Looking forward on the triumph launch as well! Hey, you got one! Nice job, Gents! I was anxious to hear what you guys thought of it in a general sense but, more specifically, with the size of it. I am about the same size/build as you guys at 6’1”/250#/34” inseam and on more than one occasion I’ve had people ask me if I thought it was big enough and it made me ask myself the question. To me, yeah, it’s big enough for the purpose that I have it which is to take off for a solo day ride or for my wife to hop on the back for an evening around town and to a pub. It doesn’t tick every box but truthfully, I don’t know of any bike for any rider that does tick every box. At any rate, regardless of size/stature, I think it is one of the finest classic bikes to just ride for the fun of riding. As a kid from the 70’s, this motor and design speak to me. It’s not my only bike but it is a special one.

I know some people said the T120 is a small bike but I disagree. Its a big baby and you feel its straight away when you get off a Thruxton onto a T120 - at least I did. Should be ideal for a two up journey too.
@simongilbert27043 жыл бұрын
thanks ,,, very brave doing a test in that cold... the bike seems to fit you both,, what makes it seem small is the steep steering angle you go on about == making the bike look short .. problem is choice=== the speed twin is more power for similar money but you would have to fit your own or option heated grips,, = the 1200 motor does sound nice in all your vids //// but harley??? perhaps have both.

I'm a T100 owner and have ridden the Speed Twin, and the difference in riding position is quite marked between the two. If you are tossing up between Bonneville and Speed Twin, particularly if you're getting a little older and creakier, it's definitely worth a longer test ride as I found the Speedy to be extremely uncomfortable over any kind of distance. The Bonneville is just right for me.
@simongilbert27043 жыл бұрын

Good review of a great bike. I have the T120 since Sept. 2016 and have put on progressive springs and Hagon shocks for a more secure feeling handling. I decated with a Motone x-pipe and put on BC Predator pipes for the sound, freer flow and to access the chain adjusters. I love the bike more than ever, but I have run into a big problem. Being on house arrest due to the pandemic and winter, I've been spending a lot of time watching bike reviews on KZbin and want a whole lot of new bikes. But when I compare them to what I have in the T120, most come up short or not enough difference to be worth the cost of changing. I really want a new bike, but the one I've already got is too good. First world problems suck.

Great Review of a Terrific Bike! Happy that you got Access to The Bike! I have Both the T120 Ace & I just Picked up the 2015 Thruxton Ace!! Couldn’t be Happier w/ this Line. 6:57 Extended mudguard? Is it an extension for the existing fender or a completely new one? Is it from Triumph direct?

Yes it’s a Triumph accessory

Thinking of buying an Ace. But the seat seams thinner than on ordinary t120? Do ordinary thicker seat like other t120 has fit this one??

I was waiting for this!! Brilliant video! my first question would be: Compared to the Street Twin you reviewed a while ago, how are the ergonomics? does it feel smaller? or the same?

Thanks! I'd say a little more roomy and comfortable

Thanks Neil. Moto Guzzi don't want to reply to our requests but we might be able to get one at a dealership after lockdown.

Hello Ol' Man. This is a beautiful bike, to the point of buying one except for the seat, it should have a bit more soul to it, because it looks like a bloody plank. in my opinion. I enjoy your reviews, keep working on the Spain move, who knows I may even roll with you on the winding southern Seville roads.

Looking at your t shirts. Wondering how your sizes run. If you can tell me what size you and your father wear it would be very helpful. Thanks.

Thanks buddy. Ol Man is a XXL and Darcy is a L. Hope that helps. Sizing is spot on. There is a size guide on there as well. If you want a more baggy fit maybe go a size up.

@@MrDarcy-OlMan well that's not nice of them.. I liked my test ride of their FTR and Scout , but I think you'd like most their bigger bikes and hopefully you'll get one with the engine in brushed and polished metal instead of blacked out because they are gorgeous !
@davidskaggs99145 ай бұрын
Sweet bike but i love the Speedmaster myself.
@tedcity5861 Жыл бұрын
Not a fan of blacked out version. Its good in that you can let it get dirty, but thats it for me. I'd take polished aluminum any day. I think its a rip off that Triumph slaps a couple of decals on it then charges $350 more. But if people fall for it then its on them.
