I Know what you mean about places to go with a dog. Think I've mentioned it before but we love having our dog along (just as he loves it too) but there just isn't that many dog friendly places around. I've just been away for a week again (remote S.A. which I do a couple of times a year to a private station, so definitely no dogs allowed due to baiting etc) but I can see how my dog reacts when I start loading to go away. I then had to go away for another couple of nights after just being home, he was not impressed! We had an awesome trip with him last year for a week, which he absolutely loved & he was certainly not a problem (until he found a possum which was quite funny. not sure who was most scared) He's so well behaved & hates being on a lead & never strays but we certainly do pop him on a chain if required but so long as he's with us, it's not really an issue, I would usually make "a run" if we are in the one spot for a while. I'd love to see more places that allow dogs, but of course it's up to the dog owners to be responsible too!! Thanks for another great video (been trying to catch up since I got back) Cheers!!

Hi Rod! Yeah it’s bloody hard finding dog friendly places! Ollie knows when we are packing to go out he starts following us around they can sense it 😂 especially after leaving him for around 10 months he watches us like a hawk now 😂

Oh your dog loves the water to? Welcome to camping with a dog. Wait untill its 10pm and you hear the dog dive into the water. Also you may have something but best thing we got for the sogs camping was little led light that goes on their collar so at night you can keep track of then easier.
@itsJackandMegan3 жыл бұрын
He loves it! His coat takes ages to dry as well 10pm 😂😂 The lights on the collar are a great idea good thinking cheers Josh.

I know how you feel about Ollie's size. We bought a Kelpie/German shepherd from animal welfare, turns out she's German Shepherd/Bull Mastiff....she's bloody huge, and you know what, we wouldn't have it any other way, she's beautiful, just like Ollie is. Keep it up guys, nice episode.

that was great guys, now Megan has a swimming buddy, Oli has already been in the water more that Jack for the whole lap......... hahahahhh. after all he is a water dog - by the way where was Oli's bakery treat? Looked like Oli handled the sleeping arrangements without any drama, maybe not too much of a design change is needed. New drone is good - didn't really notice any difference in picture quality. You're right about dog friendly camping spots but that might lead you to seeing/finding places that you wouldn't have otherwise looked at. 😋👍Can't wait for next weeks instalment. 😎

I know your pain with fluff Ollie. We have Oscar Old English Sheepdog and he fills the Troopy with sand when he’s drying out. Done a few spots coupla hours from Perth hunting for dog friendly so keen to see what you come up with inland. Eulins crossing on the Blackwood could be a go-er free and away from people. Warming up soon so beach vibe days so Preston down to Australind is our go to. Looking forward to the next vid. Loved the series. 🤟

Hi Guys came across your channel a couple of weeks ago and have binge watched every episode. Love the banter you have between you and Ollie is just a big + .Your camera work is very professional and flows well; great composition. I was hoping to catch up with you at the Perth 4 wheel drive show but not to be even though I looked. Your way up there when it comes to content creators and as you've chosen this as a career you'll do well just stick with it. Travel safe and I hope to meet you out there some day .

Thats great I'm sure you'll be a big hit. Unfortunately I won't be there next year as having recently retired I'll be either in the Kimberly or on a beach somewhere between James Price point and Coral Bay. Traveled all up through there a few years back on my way to Darwin but had to rush a lot of it as only had 7 weeks holiday. I needed to pick my wife up in Darwin so she could visit Kakadu and Litchfield before heading down to Alice Springs. There I put her back on a plane as she's not into 4 wheel driving the way I am having been toted all over Europe and the Middle East on the back of a motor bike in our younger days. I then came home via Coober Pedy, Kingoonya, Tarcoola and Googs track .A great trip but all to rushed. Over the next three years I plan to cover much of this big island as you have. I wish you all the best in building your channel and in your travels.
