This action-thriller is definitely up there in my top 10! Ernie absolutely murders as an undercover spy lying to his wife and Jamie Lee Curtis is a joy to watch. Awesome movie!

In case u didn't know, the dance scene when Jamie fell... She really did fall. Cameron liked it so much they kept it.

He kept her falling twice: the hotel when she was “stripping” and the tango in the end; Jamie was pissed about the tango because she wanted it to be perfect, but she liked it eventually. And the hotel, well, needless to say anything 😂

I love everything about this movie an I’m sad they said after 9/11 we’d never get a sequel… and JLC always says how this was such a great time filming and how James Cameron finished editing and realized it was really a story about a husband and wife so instead of it being an Arnold Schwarzenegger movie featuring Jamie Lee Curtis she said they did the credits Arnold Schwarzenegger, and Jamie Lee Curtis in true lies when before it was just Arnold + she said her 35th birthday was spent actually hanging out of a helicopter so pretty badass 👏🏼👏🏼

The example of what a good blockbuster should be, very expensive and spectacular action scenes, combined with moments of well placed and effective humor, to me all the jokes in this movie work for me, it doesn't always happen, that's why I say the example of what a good blockbuster is like.

Here’s a list of Arnold Schwarzenegger movies I remember if your looking for more 1985 commando, 1982 Conan the barbarian, 1988 red heat, 1988 Twins, 1990 kindergarten cop, 1996 eraser, he also did a horror movie 1999 end of days, and 1987 the running man. The scene of the attack of the planes on the bridge, has always blown my mind how real it looks, to the point of thinking that they really blew up a bridge and no, it was done with practical effects, ie with a miniature of the bridge, very detailed and realistic and with explosives, is the magic of practical effects, a wonderful art that shone much in the 90s and that today has been lost thanks to CGI, which I do not like, it is a modern technique that lacks to evolve to look 100% real and not artificial.

Hahhaha, your giggling throughout your reactions really crack me up. If you enjoy this one, may I suggest Die Hard. Younger kids might be like "but it's so old, I don't think it would hold up or have anything to go against newer action films" but it does hold up and still is one of the best if not the best action film ever. 24:30 They deleted a portion of the film that dealt with Helen actually instigating a striptease for Harry's birthday... but he is too worn out and falls asleep, mumbling lies on the bed. That's why he comes up with this for Helen later on. They also removed a subplot with Harry spying on Dana. She is skipping school, spending time playing in a band in a warehouse. Harry eventually busts her there and she breaks up with biker dude. Skinner also had a slightly romantic scene with Harry in a tomb at her workshop.

you don't often see heroes on a horse? granted you are young, but years ago Westerns were hugely popular. no cars so the hero rides a horse. the modern remake of The Magnificent Seven is really good. 3:10 to Yuma. or any Clint Eastwood western. Pale Rider and Unforgiven were his later ones. lastly, True Grit (2010) please don't ask why i went on like that. i usually don't know myself.

Yes you can pull somebody off a motorcycle & you can stop them. But that's assuming under. 25mph (40k) & a rider under 200lb (990kg) but, mass & speed squares. A rider '&' bike is closer to 500lb (225kg) & stopping 500lb (225kg) is a different story. Above 30mph? (48kl) you ain't stopping nothing, it's going thru you.
