Great audience reach, Kyle! USA Jump Rope coaches have long ago standardized terminology for the sport and your “stutter step” is commonly known as the “rocker.” The stutter step is when the jumper sneaks a second step with the opposite foot in the same loop instead of one step per revolution. Thanks for your enthusiastic sharing. 👍🏻

hey, need your suggestion... I have started jump rope to lose weight...it's been around 3-4 weeks..i do 1000 skips(in sets of 100& 200) daily... i can do regular skips with proper form and high knees too.... I'm confused as to what should i do next...like learn fancy stuff or continue with my routine? And if you say new stuff, can you guide me like which move should i learn first and which next and how to incorporate it in my normal routine?

How long does it take you to finish the 1k jumps? If you haven't, check out my start here playlist on the home page of my channel. Many beginners need to dial in sizing and form further. Work on building rope speed as well. Here is a tutorial on 4 footwork skills that are great for beginners👍 kzbin.info/www/bejne/kHu4oGhqac6JY6M Also, try a few of my workouts. Many add in some bodyweight exercises. This will also change it up and give you a time based workout over counting. Let me know if I can help more!

@@Jump15officialthanks for replying... it usually takes me around 12-15 mins max... sometimes i'm able to do it under 10mins.... and all this i do after a 2km run...

@@Harshit-lm9jk your doing good! Check out those things I showed above and you'll be on your way. If you master those little footwork skills quickly then I would move into learning the Criss cross and other footwork ( I have my footwork series playlist and there are other people that do different styles as well. Then you can always just check out my jump rope skills library playlist and grab a skill that looks like something you would like to learn. Just try not to skill hop to quickly, but really try to dial one in at a high level before moving on. Doing a lot of skills at a sub par level isn't very fun or impressive, but can be tempting. Keep crushing 🤜

I think your question was rhetorical haha. Two is much more impressive. Kyle, what shoe's are those you have on there?
@Jump15official Жыл бұрын
🤣🤙 Nike metcon....6 or 7. A good training shoe, but not a good all around shoe due to the flat heel design for lifting.
