Fun fact: Therapists must break confidentiality if they believe that a patient is a threat to themselves or someone else. Having a patient say that she wants someone to "die" and then say that she will "hold them accountable" would require a therapist to do a risk assessment to decide if the threat warrants contacting the authorities. For the first episode, hiding the murder weapon for a client is already bad enough, but forensic evidence and a medical examination would have shown the gunshot wound was not self inflicted. I've seen "this person did X good deeds" in legal dramas before, but it's usually just part of a defense and specifically trying to debunk specific attacks against the person's character - as in, that fact that someone's known to donate lots of money or living a very frugal lifestyle being used to throw doubt on accusations of emmbezlement because it wouldn't track. Pretty sure actual evidence's still necessary, though, this is more to gain control of the narrative

There was a show on I wanna say Fox, that was a courtroom type show, and at the end, we saw what actually happened. I remember one episode a dude got convicted of murdering his wife, but she actually just slipped on the side of the pool and hit her head. I always thought that was a great format for those types of shows, but it only had one season. I think if they did it again today, it'd do really well.

If this show doesn’t reveal that one of the brothers was in on the drug ring, whether the parents are innocent covering for him or they’re participants, I’ll be disappointed at the wasted opportunity (even though Tubi is trash).
