I’m in the middle of putting a turbo on my 1994 300. I have the engine pulled now and it’s down to block. I’m about to send the block to the machine shop to prepare it for new pistons, camshaft, and a promaxx performance head. It’s was the EFI system but I’m switching to an offenhauser Intake with a holly sniper and It was an auto with a E4od but I’m putting a M5od into it.

is the promaxx head an OE head or is it a performance type unit.

Going to an 11'' seems about right, but like you said research helps. Overall I'm surprised you got that much much done in 1 day! Looking forward to the next update!

An 11" clutch is perfect for the 300. I moved up to an 11" and it makes a world of difference. You can slip it if you need to, but it holds solid. I love driving my f250 because it feels more like a big truck with the way it drives.

The one that’s in it now is holds once it engages but it slips pretty bad on engagement. This truck drives like a sports car compared to my daily driver! It’s an F350 CCLB dually, drives like a school bus haha

Agreed, going to do a rear main and double check the pan gasket. Most of the oil on the driver’s side is coming from the fuel pump block off plate, I need to make a new one out of thicker metal so it doesn’t warp.

an 11" works . a comment i want to make concerns starters. the zf takes a 168 tooth version and i urge you to upgrade to a PMGR starter from a. mid nineties ford. its a better starter for all sort of reasons. furthermore, some of the spring pressures on the competition style clutches will cause extreme pedal pressure. this will cause stress on your firewall , even with the LUK 11" clutch , which by the way is a fune choice for a clutch. a wilwood style remote clutch master cylinder system might save your firewall from cracking

I’m planning on getting everything through south bend clutch so I’ll have to see what they recommend. I will look into the starter though because I’m not sure mine will work

The 5 speeds sucks reverse and first are way to high in them.
