The china flex sensors are big-time hit or miss, junkyard 2012+ GM sensors are best IMO with Impala being most common. Also, you will get high spikes when high-moisture fuel or any methanol goes thru the sensor, registering up to 150%. The sensor isn't bad in that case, just the fuel.

If you can make the picture bigger on the shirts but keep a good quality. I think that would be good. Could add the Tempest logo under the car also to take up some space. BTW digging the new camera angle.

I’d bet the fuel pressure showing a 0.5:1 rising rate is due to the poor quality FPR. I’ve experimented with the popular eBay/Amazon versions, PQY, Weldon and MagnaFuel fpr. Only the magna fuel and Weldon showed a 1:1 rising rate. All used with a 4703 pump
@murray812 жыл бұрын
Silly question joe. With the fuel tech co2 valve(solenoids) did you or the customer just use the 557-201 Holley when setting up the wastegate control method since they are basically the same thing having the dual barrel mac valves just different brand units ?

Those PQY regulators need the port drilled out to work properly. And they can return fuel very fast because of it
@mcfero12 жыл бұрын
What port, I’ve heard to drill the return out. I’ve been na so I’ve had no issues but I’m about to do my first startup turbocharged so I’m worried about running at lower psi for my injectors. Wondering if I can get to a 43 base psi.
@benharroun37462 жыл бұрын
Been running a 1200hp camaro with a box stock PQY no problem. It's easy to pick on off brand names but what Joey doesn't know is, most these "Joe recommendations" are made at the same factory and painted with a different name. Check it out, you'll see what I mean.
@RonniePTexan2 жыл бұрын
@@mcfero1 Set your base pressure with the boost/vacuum hose off. Set it at 43-45PSI. The base PSI isn't as important as making sure that the fuel pressure rises with the boost. You can use a little higher base rate to push more fuel in if your injectors are getting close to being maxed out. If you have plenty of injector, then the base pressure isn't as important.
@mcfero12 жыл бұрын
@@RonniePTexan I just remember trying to lower it and it seemed like it won’t go lower than 60.
@RonniePTexan2 жыл бұрын
@@mcfero1 If it's running that high no matter how much you back off of the pressure, then you probably have an issue with the return side/return line. You can run a hose to a gas can and see how much is flowing on the return side. You could have a blocked return hose, a crimped hose, or just a return line that's way too small. Of course this is in addition to a bad regulator. Before you add boost, you gotta get that whole situation ironed out or you'll be spraying shiny parts all over the road/track.

Super interested in the Tune the Trilogy - I'm thinking of taking the classes over the winter months where I've got time. Would I be better off to do this when I can drive my project around or will I be good enough taking the classes and messing with just my laptop?

Hey joe. Love the videos man! Going to be getting tune the trilogy soon. I have a cts low err and mat low err on my ford 302 term x. All other sensors read perfect. I have the deka style 1500's and mine flowed and tuned fine on a factory P01 using HP Tuners. I didn't use SEP data. I manipulated it myself and they idled and rev'd great . I think an experienced tuner would have no issues if I can do it.

Every set I’ve cleaned and flowed has never been close even with cars running well. Not saying it can’t be done but I personally haven’t seen them perform well on a bench
