Spraying water on cats is not cat jihad. Jihad isn't a proper word either, the infidel gets to live if he converts to islam. A war of annihilation, utter annihilation of the cats by killing by any means is the kind of cat war Australians need to wage on cats. Cats need to go extinct in Australia before the native bird population goes extinct. Cats will never go extinct but Australia's native birds will and extinction if forever.
@JMObyx3 жыл бұрын
@@jvanstyn The situation isn't as hopeless as you can think. A few years back, I heard of a technology that uses CRISPR and gene editing that seems like it would have the best chance of doing the trick, essentially a lot of examples of invasive animals would be captured froma ll over Australia, a couple hundred to be really sure, and then they would have a faulty gene inserted into their DNA that causes sterility, now this gene won't express itself in the first generation, that's not the point. However, after all of these invasive animals are re-released into their respective territories this gene would grow slightly more dominant with each passing generation that the infected cats breed, eventually one or a couple of the kittens are sterile and unable to reproduce, but the rest of the litter, still infected by the gene editing, won't be, and they would be able to pass on their genetic material to uninfected bloodlines. In a few generations, for Australia's invasive cat problem, I give it about ten years, the invasive species would become entirely sterile and stop reproducing.

@Sequoiah Dreams Your saying truth about that. I only join in arguments when people threaten each other. Or one of them threatens them. I don't like those people. I had encountered a guy who in game wanted someone to kill themselves in real life. That's, where I went like: "Oh He won't get away with it this, I will defend the guy" BTW, the guy who was threatened didn't do anything specifically to him. He just pretended to be eyeless jack, pretending to eat human flesh. In game. That's practically fine, but threaten them for being weird or act as a character they roleplay as. Also, my character is scp-1471 (stalker app from SCP Foundation) Which as you can see, stalks, that would be worse, if I actually did roleplay it. Becouse even if you pretend to stalk,you still stalk. There is no way of pretending to stalk. You just stalk.

Ugh. I can't stand people who let their cats roam! I love cats and have 2 of them but because I love them and nature, they stay inside 100% of the time. Domestic housecats are sooo destructive and letting them roam is dangerous for them as well as wildlife. Then people who let their cats roam have the nerve to cry when their cat goes missing and/or dies due to one of the many dangers outdoors. It's their own fault but maybe one day they'll learn their lesson. Too bad we can't hose down the cats owners since the cats don't know any better.

to people saying this is messing with the food chain i have one thing to say. YOUR DEAD WRONG. feral cats will kill just to kill. sometimes they kill for food other times they kill just to kill. here in the U.S a lot of bird have died off do to feral cats.Cats kill up to 3.7B birds annually. Cats that live in the wild or indoor pets allowed to roam outdoors kill from 1.4 billion to as many as 3.7 billion birds in the continental U.S. So yea i am all for him having a defense for the birds.

+ Cats were introduced by humans. I forgot in which one, but in some video he said, that cats are as native in Australia as rabbits. + The ats are ruining his property. Though I do wonder with what he cleans, because there are special kinds of cleaners that help with the smell in a way that cats aren't drawn to it which helps with the peeng problem.

Well said. Cats are NOT native animals and have all but decimated ground nesting birds in some countries as well as how many other birds they kill yearly, worldwide. This is a humane, harmless solution to keeping native birds safe. Anyone who thinks cats should be able to roam unchecked, chooses to be willfully ignorant. Not to mention totally inconsiderate to their neighbor's cars and property. Even well fed cats will hunt and kill native animals. They do NOT belong in the wild. That said, this is the fault of humans. Humans are the most destructive force on earth. Kudos to Turnah 81 for humanely keeping native birds safe. 2 thumbs up for a creative and humane solution. 👍👍

When my kids were 5-4-and2. Three little kitties popped out of the woods with their mother behind our house. my kids were thrilled, we started feeding them, I built houses with heated floors for them, got them all their shots/got them fixed, and kept them on our back porch. Our back porch is covered, it is 10 feet wide and 26 feet long. it is not an afterthought addition, it was built with this porch that has French doors going into our sunken living room. It has a panoramic view of the woods overlooking our pool and our lower yard. It’s beautiful....I never got to use that porch again. because as my wife put it, that’s the cat home.. . These are feral cats, I never got closer than 10 feet to any of them. my sons were never interested in becoming friends with them but my daughter and my wife had most of the born on the porch cats eating out of their hands... The mother cat just tolerated my wife and daughter, and never really became pets.. A couple years After the first mom/and three little kitties, a stray mom cat found a heated houses & the constant food supply , and moved in and had a litter. Before we could catch her to get her fixed, within a year she had another litter. my kids and my wife were so attached to the cute little kitties, 14 now,I build additional heated houses. Got those cats fixed by a vet that came with his mobile hospital. That wasn’t cheap . my wife won’t tell me the total, but she did admit that it was over $1500.. we had to get them fixed, we knew that or we would be overrun, and our house would smell like ammonia from a quarter-mile away. none of these cats were ever in the house. That’s where I drew the line. I said they have my porch, they’re not getting my house too... as I said before we lived at the end of the road next to the woods. When we first moved in to this home, we had every form of wildlife, from chipmunks, squirrels, pheasants, Garter snakes,all types of birds . I have a small stream running through my lower property, so we had frogs, turtles, toads, rabbits, deer, Even bears have been reported by local TV news raiding the nearby church dumpster all of those creatures Except for the dear, and probably the bear,have disappeared over the next 15 to 18 years. People that live through the woods have a koi pond.. even those poor harmless fish ended up halfdead on our back porch. I would often go out onto the porch to feed the cats, and I would find still trying to move baby rabbits with their ears ripped off,But still alive.the one that really broke my heart was a full-grown redheaded woodpecker which I had never seen one before. On our back porch, still conscious, but unable to move from its injuries.Feathers everywhere, unable to move his neck.Many times I had to scoop up what was left to some of the still alive creatures and finish them off myself. Including that beautiful red headed woodpecker. It was big, the wingspan was close to 3 feet... I often had to hose the porch cement off to get rid of the blood and guts and feathers and fur from last nights victims. somehow my wife and kids were able to overlook the slaughter because the kitties were so cute. It took 18 years but I am finally rid of those killers on my back porch.. I finally got my porch back. I regret not having the porch and being able to watch my kids while they were still little playing in the pool just below... The cats were more important.... it’s been a year since the last cat expired. The last cat was one of two that were around for the last three years. They were old and pretty much done with being able to catch birds and rabbits and frogs and turtles and bring them up on the porch. So slowly, we’re starting to see wildlife make a return. Australia has a problem with feral cats. Look on KZbin if you don’t believe me. They actually encourage people to shoot feral cats in Australia. They think the number of cats is in the millions out in the outback. The problem is, Australia has animals like the kowala bear, the sloth, bush baby, animals that a cat can just walk up to.. Austria did not have cats before man brought them to australia, so the native animals have no flea instinct when they see a cat. They are wiping out kowala bears and sloths and other indigenous species. i saw a video of aborigine women cornering and catching a cat, and roasting it over a bonfire for dinner.. I did not feel sorry for that cat one bit... they are cold-blooded killers. They kill not to eat, just to kill. I do not know of another animal on earth that kills just to kill other than the cat..

@Thelondonbadger very good point most cat people let there cats roam around. And my point was always. You wouldn't let your kids roam around if you loved them or your family dog. 100%right cats are just killers. So many majestic birds and other animals die because of the ignorance of cat people. Plain simple!
