Yeah. These wheels rocked. I was almost expecting you to drop some tire shine to complement the wheels.
@Spiritcr1jsher4 жыл бұрын
Probably because of the title. They are just spray painting nice . Rims are more than just how they look . If they are cast , flow formed ( different casting technique) , forged , lightweight make the price vary .
@PPekka4 жыл бұрын
Because of title, no way those turned into 1000$ wheels. Ok paintjob, but you could maybe get 50-100$ more for those wheels. He did not even take out the tires first and paint the whole wheels.

Nice work! They’re definitely a big improvement over the aging factory finish. Maybe going over the insides of the rims with the metallic black or the silver in the future would look nice. You seemed to do a good job of mitigating overspray on that area in the video though and that location receives a lot of abuse from wheel weight changes and road gunk.

The comment section on this video is like a airport planes flying over people's heads all day.. He meant 1000 dollar wheels as in if you went somewhere like a retail tire store rims that look like this would cost about a grand which is accurate I work at a place called Rhyme Time and we sell custom wheels which are just basically what this video shows. So your getting ripped hard buying these from stores when you could just do what this dude did. I will say tho a bit more steps are put into the wheels lasting longer. I'm curious to know how long these lasted before the paint started chipping if at all.
