Tyler is a genius and I love how you "get" TOP and feel the love he has for his music and his fans. I will be a fan forever too. I have had the privilige of seeing them live last year in the UK at Reading Festival. It is etched in my heart forever. Those that don't get them don't know what they are missing.

I still remember the day this performance was posted and I watched it for the first time. I was on the train heading into the city for work, just captivated. I could’ve easily missed my stop and gone another 20km past the city, and it still would’ve been just the best day.

I thought it made sense to share this here. It is from Tyler’s Instagram and I think it is wonderful. I have no shame in saying that Tyler Joseph/twenty øne piløts are my favorite. Posted 12/28/2018: tylerrjoseph the bandito tour is very special to me, including any of you who made it to a show this year. thank you. things get quiet around this time, and i’m reminded why i write so much about the lack of sound. it’s deafening. all of the questions. is what i’m doing any good. this last album, was it good enough. what’s the point. i hate typing them out, which might be why i refuse to grant them their proper punctuation. but then i’m reminded of the show and the people who come. this odd theatrical convention we have landed on as a species, a concert, is somehow healing and protecting, boosting the immune system of the psyche. maybe it’s the ethereal sensation of hearing you all singing in unison, or its the natural warmth of the collective body heat from the pit billowing toward me. whatever it is, i’ve learned it can be harnessed and preserved so that the echoes of its effects can be tapped in to when needed. kneeling down in front of you during the show, i’m collecting. and now as i type this out i’m unpacking, to combat those questions that show up in the quietest of places. feels silly just saying “thank you for coming to the show” so i thought i’d explain it a little. see you at the next one. |-

tyler has such an amazing personality. he is both a deep thinker (from songs and speeches you have got it already) and a guy of humour. you should watch and maybe react??? to compilations of his inspirational speeches or explanations (there's one about the vessel album) and you will fall in love with him even more. or funny compilations with josh because this duo is the best i swear!! thank you for the vids :)

Just a side note... this was in Jersey before their concert. My husband and I were there (concert) and his grandparents were there. He asked the people in front of his grandparents if they would switch seats so they could stay seated and see their grandson play and that they would get a meet and great after the show. He ended up hooking up the people who let his grandparents move in front of them. It was so sweet seeing how he literally stopped the show to see if they could see him. Once you ho to 1, your hooked.

Just to let you know my fellow Cucumber fren, I grew up listening to the "Classics".. even saw Pink Floyd Animals live in concert when the album first came out. And I can definitively say, "Twenty One Pilots" are *THE* *BEST* band I have ever heard in my life. Tyler is indeed a savant with a dry, surly sense of humor and Josh is the anchor line that holds them steady. These boys are an anomaly in the music industry and I am so privileged to have them in my life. Keep up your intense and heartfelt reactions Sir. Clique forever! ||-//

The best thing about Tyler is how relatable he is. On stage he has forgotten lyrics, fallen down, tripped going up steps, messed up songs, and that just makes him so much more loveable.

My kids are 11, and 6, and they LOVE twenty one pilots! Its awesome I get to share it with them! My favorite artists growing up were sublime, and Bob Dylan, who I also get to share with my kids, they have great taste in music. My husband loves it too, but will mostly listen to rap, eminem, joyner lucas, kid cudy, stuff like that, so they get a nice mix. Plus they are homeschooled, so they don’t worry about what other people think of them. Its so cool to see them just grow into their true selves!

Ok, so I came back on to watch it on my computer full screen.. my Sony MDR-7506 headphones just like Tyler uses and watch the reaction again. Fil.. your eyes express everything necessary to convey your feelings. I just love the look of wonder, awe and amazement like especially during Ride. We've all said it 1000 times.. your reactions to TOP are most excellent to watch because it hits you so deep and it's great to watch you react just like we did when we heard it all our first time. His music hits everyone a little differently; but you can't deny the stirring of emotions for those who take the time to let it sink in.
