I have a hair picture that belonged to my Grandmother. Her Mother lost four of her five children to diphtheria in the late 1890’s. One man , a day worker on farms in Southern Minnesota , brought death to many farm families. We now have very successful vaccine for diphtheria.

Thank you so much for going over that paper about viral rebound and Paxlovid. My take away from your assessment is that it has NOT changed the effectiveness of Paxlovid to dramatically reduce severe disease. That MUST be the fact that should be shouted out across the rooftops and into the ears of doctors who have not had your experience in the clinical outcomes of Paxlovid use.

From Nature: “Our data suggest that repeated vaccination with inactivated virus vaccine back-boosts previous memory and dampens the immune response to a new antigenically related but distinct viral strain. Such vaccination-induced immune imprint could reflect the “original antigenic sin” doctrine described in the influenza field, whereby individuals infected with a new circulating viral strain developed a strong immune response to a priorly exposed strain.” They go on to suggest that vaccines should be targeted toward currently circulating strains.

Paxlovid: So when Daniel says about half way (around minute 26) through, that it's not viral rebound, it's the early inflammatory phase, does that mean the medication is not being effective? If so, what is a solution to that?

Hx: #7 vaccine Oct. 26th. On Infliximab. Nov.1st: Day 1: Nausea, vomiting very congestion. Test quickly positive. 1st Paxlovid at 2200 hours. Day 2 to 7: Congestion, fatigue. Positive test with fainter line each day. Able to take a walk and get outside on day 7. Very faint line on test. Day 8: Return of congestion and fatigue. Very positive RAT. Line fainter each day and nose very runny until day 17. Negative RAT on day 17. But not Paxlovid rebound?

Daniel had talked about this before: that's the natural history of the virus. You don't know what would've happened if this person hadn't taken paxlovid, but studies show that rebound can occur regardless of whether you took the drug. Don't base scientific or medical opinions on anecdotes.

Did we know at what tissue temperature did SARS COV2 new variants replicate? If virus replicate more at low tissue temperature must enhance thermogenesis,and avoid hipothermia,to prevent SARS COV2 infection. Did supposition of Christian Drosten at TWiV 659 at min29 was real ? How can increase upper respiratory temperature If thermogenesis are low ? May be by bandana wearing?

May be using oxigenoterapy with warmed oxigen mix at body temperature, can theoretically, mitigate SARS COV2 infection (?).and may be can avoid erytocite to agregate improving also lung capillary( flux) flow.
