I have never let a bubble tea sit around for hours, let alone minutes. Also, mushy tapioca might change the flavor a bit, or there could be ice melt and dilution issues, temperature could affect taste, etc. Maybe have a bubble tea delivered every 15 minutes... Hey! that could be a tourist service while in Singapore/Taipei: get a different brand of bubble tea delivered every hour or so, so you can sample them all during your visit...

My personal opinion: Honestly, Sharetea and Each a Cup could have been placed in F-tier... I remember back in the days when they were the budget option for bubble tea, and were usually made by middle-aged ladies in the neighbourhood for kids and teenagers. I used to buy them with my friend for about $1.50 a cup, and it was a great option for kids who didn't have a lot of money but still wanted bubble tea. And then, for some reason, they tried to become a little more 'higher-class' with their branding and franchising, charging one cup at $4 or more but keeping it at the same budget quality as before. Sure, I still have fond memories of them from back when I was a student, but as a working adult and knowing full well that I can get the S-tier stuff (Xing Fu Tang is my personal favourite) at around the same price just makes me not want to give them the time of the day.

As a Taiwanese, Ten ren is the only tea shop accepted if my parent wants some bubble milk tea. They're a serious tea company before selling drinks. Would definitely recommend people give it a try.
