No worries Cruise, wishing U2 the best in whatever adventures are in stored in Vietnam and future cycling trip around beautiful Taiwan. Will u need to self quarantine for 2 weeks in Vietnam? As non Canadians aren’t allowed in at this time and returning Canadians must stay home for 2 weeks. It’s been crazy over here in North America, with new rules implemented daily around “Social / Physical Distancing”. Take care and stay safe and healthy.

The thing with KZbin is, you come for content but you stay for the personality. So don't be worried about the views. I was enjoying your trips in Japan and I will enjoy your trips in Vietnam. Is a second channel necessary? I don't think so, your channel is already a wild mix and it is good as it is. My suggestion: Implement a clear and crisp design language for the content included in the thumbnail. So maybe a blue style for riding and tech content and red for more personal related content. Combine this with a firm uploading schedule (e.g. Sunday for riding/tech and Wednesday for more private things). This gives you a good workflow and the viewers will know what to expect. One big channel is more relevant to sponsors than two smaller channels and it helps defining your brand. I wish you both the best of luck!

i first subscribed to your channel about a year ago primarily because of the cycling content. gradually i learned more about you and Thuong, your relationship, your everyday life in Nagoya, your little cycling adventures along with your struggles as a foreign couple living outside of your native lands. i guess my favorite vlog was the one when you surprised Thuong with her first new bike for Christmas and how truly happy she was. so for me, regardless of where you both are, what matters is that you continue showing your true selves, because i know your are good people, you care for each other, you care about your families, and you radiate that goodness through your vlogs. i wish you and Thuong success in your plans.

The two phrases I find adorable in pronunciation from Thuong-chan are "Wow" and "Let's go!". :D Time is changing and I guess the best approach is to adapt. Transporting all those bikes is probably going to be a challenge unless you're going to get rid of some of them to lighten the load. Traffic in Vietnam is gonna be a real challenge especially competing lanes with motor bikes which I see is pretty popular over there. It's gonna be entertaining hearing you speak Vietnamese eventually especially you being one of the few Caucasian people in Vietnam. :D As for content, you should keep your content the way it is which is mostly cycling and some mixture of touring videos and some behind the scenes but it's also ok to evolve over time on what is trending too. I wish you all well and I'll continue to support you. :)
@TwoWheelCruise4 жыл бұрын
I get to here those words every day haha :) She's been trying to use what vocabulary she does know in conversation lately.. Mainly things like "no" and "I don't need" I'm looking into shipping options, but it seems more trouble than it's worth. We will likely try to sell most bikes, and maybe just bring one over each. We may try to switch over to a folding bike though, we'll see what happens 🙃 Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad to hear you like the mix.

Channel format? I prefer one channel. The topics can be varied - that is what the thumbnail and description is for. I honestly don't get other youtubers that break their channels up into a bunch of separate pieces (unless its a new format like Thuongs channel, then it makes sense) - I always assumed it made sense for unknown youtube algorithm purposes or monetization because it usually doesn't make sense content wise. My favorite aspect of your videos is the moving tours of the city and countryside and your narration style is also very easy to listen to and not the least bit grating - you always seem to notice and talk about the same things I notice and wonder about while watching your vids. You may not realize it but you definitely have a talent for this.

Sad to hear about you guys leaving, but life is about going forward and learning new stuffs, but keep doing what you're doing because believe it or not I've learned so many life lessons from riding a bike, and one of the reasons why i ride bike again was after watching your commuting series...so keep up the good work guys, gambatte!!!

I'm really going to miss Japan from the videos, but I'm excited to see videos of you both in Vietnam, regardless of whatever videos you continue to make I'll always be a loyal fan to both of you and anything on the channel.

one channel. I look forward to learning more about Viet Nam thru your channel. I started watching for the cycling and found I enjoyed you and Thoung. I especially like Thuong's wit, she is very funny.

Japan is not going to be the same without you guys. I've never been there but I felt your videos were the window that let me in... and if I ever was to go, I would have you as neighbors (figuratively, of course). On the other hand I wish you the best at Vietnam. ❤

From someone who has already lived in 7 countries, I say just do it! There is no point worrying about what could be. To be honest, I have made some crazy decisions in my life (in hindsight) but I never look back. I do enjoy sharing in your journey also as an MTBer that has ridden across the Himalayas and over some of the world's highest passes on a bike. Vietnam is on my bucket list to visit so looking forward to seeing your journey to that amazing country. Everything will work out, it always does, trust me!

Happy with the current mix of the channel 👌 All the best with the move guys! Vietnam is a good hub for traveling around South East Asia. It would be good to see some cycling videos around the region. Maybe consider colabs with local cyclists/youtubers.

Best wishes for your move and moving forward with your lives. Maybe it is too early to decide one channel or two. Maybe start combining the two and see how it goes. You can always separate later. Perhaps even start a bicycle touring company in Vietnam?

I found you cause I wanted to see videos about life and Japan and u popped up. You included something I enjoy often, cycling. So of course I stayed, and subscribed. It was back in 2018, almost 2 years ago. I've loved ur channel since. And seeing u leave Japan makes me sad🥺but I love u cruise. I support u cause u make awesome content and you'll keep it up😁💯best of luck when u move (chuc may man) I think that's good luck in Vietnamese. Ask thuong haha. 😁😅

Thanks for sticking around for so long! :) We'll still make videos about Japan and maybe find some Japanese things in Vietnam to talk about ;)

Wow...tough call but i'm sure you've made the right choice. You realise of course that people in Vietnam will be confused with an English speaking American and a Vietnamese girl speaking Japanese to each other.....as their only common language. It looks like japan could go into some sort of lockdown anyday now, due to Covid19 , not sure on Vietnam. Hope it works out well for you both Cruise, I'm going to miss seeing you and Thuong riding around Nagoya.....but at least we have the older videos. As for your KZbin channel....your lives are documented here, I can't see any issues to mix it up a little and keep the continous life journey in one place...we are all here because we all feel that we've got to know you both....so yeah...keep this channel going...you don't need another. Good luck and all the best for the future. Oity you're not moving to the land downunder, we have lots of Vietnamese living here in Sydney Australia..

Thanks, that's a good point! It's also nice speaking Japanese outside of Japan, it's like a code no one else can understand :)

Love the channel! I’ve been watching for awhile now. I’m happy for both of you. I’ve read others and I agree, the content, the personalities, the bicycling are all great. It wouldn’t matter what other variables ( content) you bring to the channel as long as you stay consistent with bicycling. There are many dimensions to cycling as well as living our lives but you do such a nice job incorporating them both. Adding more content would be great! 😀🤙🏽🌺 mahalo!!!

I send my condolences to Thuong. She is obviously a good daughter, and you are a good man. I'm looking forward to your move to Vietnam, and the video content should be your choice, (but I do like the mixed content). Good luck.
