No worries Cruise, wishing U2 the best in whatever adventures are in stored in Vietnam and future cycling trip around beautiful Taiwan. Will u need to self quarantine for 2 weeks in Vietnam? As non Canadians aren’t allowed in at this time and returning Canadians must stay home for 2 weeks. It’s been crazy over here in North America, with new rules implemented daily around “Social / Physical Distancing”. Take care and stay safe and healthy.

The thing with KZbin is, you come for content but you stay for the personality. So don't be worried about the views. I was enjoying your trips in Japan and I will enjoy your trips in Vietnam. Is a second channel necessary? I don't think so, your channel is already a wild mix and it is good as it is. My suggestion: Implement a clear and crisp design language for the content included in the thumbnail. So maybe a blue style for riding and tech content and red for more personal related content. Combine this with a firm uploading schedule (e.g. Sunday for riding/tech and Wednesday for more private things). This gives you a good workflow and the viewers will know what to expect. One big channel is more relevant to sponsors than two smaller channels and it helps defining your brand. I wish you both the best of luck!

Nathan Miller the Taiwanese culture/people are very focused on Japanese daily culture vs Chinese not exactly the same as Vietnamese it’s a whole different way of life. Hmmm let me simplify it - Capitalism vs Socialism/ Communism or 1st world vs 3rd world. Good luck he is going to need it in spades n them some. Yes as I type this I hear his comments on the virus situation and I’m thinking where in the world would I rather be Japan capitalist 1st world vs the rest of Asia even parts of Europe all of Africa and 99.9% of South America. I mean let’s face it Japan South Korea Singapore maybe Taiwan maybe HK. Any other Asian countries you are pushing ones luck, bigly.

@@cwsgt2806 As someone that has lived in Vietnam the past 2 years, I found it relatively smooth to adapt to the culture even barely speaking the language. It really depends on your ability to adapt to the unexpected and improvise on the spot when solutions aren't immediately apparent (in daily scenarios). About bringing up the virus: Look at the number of cases in Vietnam (about ~250 right now) versus other parts of Asia (Japan: 2,600+). we can attribute this to one thing: aggressive government action to stay ahead of the virus. In early March they implemented an automatic government facility quarantine for anyone coming from abroad (VNese and foreigners) so the people testing positive mostly haven't even been in the city to spread it. Such measures wouldn't fly in a western country. They only just mandated a country-wide lockdown last week. Vietnam is one of the few places on earth I would rather be than anywhere.

i first subscribed to your channel about a year ago primarily because of the cycling content. gradually i learned more about you and Thuong, your relationship, your everyday life in Nagoya, your little cycling adventures along with your struggles as a foreign couple living outside of your native lands. i guess my favorite vlog was the one when you surprised Thuong with her first new bike for Christmas and how truly happy she was. so for me, regardless of where you both are, what matters is that you continue showing your true selves, because i know your are good people, you care for each other, you care about your families, and you radiate that goodness through your vlogs. i wish you and Thuong success in your plans.

The two phrases I find adorable in pronunciation from Thuong-chan are "Wow" and "Let's go!". :D Time is changing and I guess the best approach is to adapt. Transporting all those bikes is probably going to be a challenge unless you're going to get rid of some of them to lighten the load. Traffic in Vietnam is gonna be a real challenge especially competing lanes with motor bikes which I see is pretty popular over there. It's gonna be entertaining hearing you speak Vietnamese eventually especially you being one of the few Caucasian people in Vietnam. :D As for content, you should keep your content the way it is which is mostly cycling and some mixture of touring videos and some behind the scenes but it's also ok to evolve over time on what is trending too. I wish you all well and I'll continue to support you. :)

I get to here those words every day haha :) She's been trying to use what vocabulary she does know in conversation lately.. Mainly things like "no" and "I don't need" I'm looking into shipping options, but it seems more trouble than it's worth. We will likely try to sell most bikes, and maybe just bring one over each. We may try to switch over to a folding bike though, we'll see what happens 🙃 Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad to hear you like the mix.

I hate to ask this question what you are talking about big life changes, but I will be riding in Japan soon. What do you use for navigation? Is that a Garmin on your bars? At least you are with her. My Thai wife lives in Nagano, but her family is in Thailand. She is stuck in Japan and I am stuck in Utah!

Hi I’ve been watching for a while and really enjoy all your videos. If you keep it all on one channel it will be easier to find everything. Especially with all the other channels that people are subscribed to. Thanks for sharing your videos and part of your life with us. Stay safe.

I ran across your channel because of the Tannus tire review you did have really enjoyed your personality and your perspective as an American living in Japan. I’ll echo what others have said, I don’t think another channel is necessary. Cycling content, travel, etc all kind of goes together in my opinion. Good luck in Vietnam and stay safe with the virus situation!

My wife is from Thailand and we went back there for 4 yrs and came back 12 yrs ago, so your videos have always been fun for me to watch and your move to Vietnam will be just as exciting so don't change your content. It's always been fun and informative. As a matter of fact a couple of videos back you had two but I should add non preachy takes on our government and its approach to Covid19 that were quite accurate so please stay in southeast Asia, your safer there!

I agree with many comments that say keep the channel going as it is, but now it'll be in Vietnam. I love the bike videos especially new rides but also love seeing what your life is like in Japan, like the grocery store video. And Thuong's sense of humor is a must for your content. She makes me laugh. Looking forward to seeing what rides you do and your everyday life in Vietnam.

Want to say I have been enjoying a lot your channel and can understand a lot of you experiences, been long in Japan myself. I would suggest to keep all in one channel with a focus on cycling, but not limited to it. A lot of your non-cycling videos are equally good. Hope to see more of your channel, regardless. Wishing you both all the best and 頑張れ in Vietnam.

Hey guys, it’s sad to see you go but also happy that your moving forward with a new adventure. We know there’s gonna be gonna be a lot of bumps down the road but let them be good ones. We (me & my girlfriend) would love to see you guys in another channel, watching all your non cycling adventures in that beautiful country. It’s just our thought though. All the best and keep cycling!! P.S I too quit my job last week and leaving japan. No one’s gonna mourn though:p but I loved organizing cycling events in meetup. Hope we meet someday on the road.

Found your channel while looking for a gravel bike ("Mountain Gravel Road Cycling in Japan" upload) but subbed because your content was different from the other generic cycling channels I follow. Having content that appealed beyond my original search proves you have been and are doing something right. I look forward to having an insight to Vietnamese culture as I have with Japanese. Best wishes for you both 👍🏻
