Rad Yes Well said, DM will always be a big part of the show! My Fav Album: Black Celebration My Fav Song: Strangelove My Fav Lyrics: Shake the Disease / New Dress (sorry couldn’t choose only one, ha) So great chatting with cool DM fans 🌎

@@reactionextraction i dont have any specific favourite album.. But Stripped was the song that got me to DM.. And i'm a huge Erasure fan also.. Great to see them too on your channel

I was horribly depressed at the time, so the perfect album by the perfect band. My favorite though was “Waiting for the night to come”. They rocked the Globe with that one. As in, the hand rails throbbed, via resonance.

The bass is great and the voice is more hypnotic than anything else. Glad TY likes depeche.

Violator is probably one of my most played albums. Love the concept of this channel and with both Depeche Mode and Duran Duran reactions of course I had to subcribe.

Thx so much for the kind words! DM, Duran, New Order, Pet Shop Boys ... still to come soon on the show !

Violator is fantastic record, but Ultra has to be my favourite from DM. Perfect mood start to finish.

If Ty likes the DM songs so far that you guys have reacted to i'm sure he would like "Personal Jesus" and "World In My Eyes" off the Violator album. Im curious if you guys are going to go album to album because as your dad probably knows on DM Songs Of Faith And Devotion album and Ultra album they change there look and sound which is a little more rockier like songs such as "I Feel You and Barrel Of A Gun. "Never Let Me down Again" or" Behind The Wheel "is one my favorite tunes
@reactionextraction2 жыл бұрын
Yes of course the next part of the DM journey for Ty will be from earlier albums like my Fav “black celebration” & “ultra” no worries 😉

Thank you so much for watching the show 📺! Greetings from Texas! 🇺🇸❤️🇩🇪 ! Your so right “Violator” is an all time classic album by any bands 🇬🇧 standards !

So far you've listened to 3 DM classics, but all from a window of 3 years (1987-90). DM are much more than their peak... time to throw Ty a real curveball to show a different side of DM! Something hard, like Barrel of a Gun, Wrong, or Angel... or a Martin Gore ballad like Somebody, Home, or A Question of Lust.
@reactionextraction2 жыл бұрын
I like what your saying yes, it’s time to go early DM or harder DM like “I feel you” or “wrong”. I think Ty digs the band so that’s good news! 👍🏼

Review any of their devotional tour “live” performances. The set list mostly from Songs of Faith And Devotion and Violator. When Dave Gahan decided that he will be a rock star, with a rousing gospel like background singers and the use of live drums and guitars during the tour. The only time I was lucky enough to watch Depeche Mode live, was on this tour. Condemnation, Rush, In Your Room, Judas, I feel you.
@reactionextraction2 жыл бұрын
We love DM fans! Dave is an amazing singer! Great tour to see, i’m guessing probably little darker, Dave with black eyeliner kinda thing. “I Feel You” amazing tune!

@@reactionextraction we were right in the middle of year end Uni Exams. More excited for DM than anything else. 10,000 fans in the sold out arena and Dave Gahan I didn’t expect the black t shirts to sell out first in this country. I was all of 22 years old.

That's actually the amazing thing: The further you look back in time regarding music, the more you realise that almost any "new" stuff is either directly "ripped off" or at least based on something that came before and has been altered slightly. However that's how music and inspiration actually works. Though I'd like to stress that just because an idea was taken and expanded on doesn't take away any of the talent and work that was put into it. Even music in the 70th already contained a lot of covers and ideas from the 40th and 50th. Though most wouldn't even recognise this connection when you don't know that very old stuff.

Such a great bridge in this song (2:02). Also 1:30 when that melody comes in and that snare that had high pop melds into a deeper bass snare sound is a nice touch. 4:13 "if you continuedly decide" love the harmony and backup vocal climbing.
