These are probably my favorite videos that you do, just something very relaxing and informative about seeing the progression of a map.

I'm glad to hear, I was getting worried they were too dry and just me rambling, because I'm pretty much just sitting down and recording my thoughts out loud. Half the time I'm figuring things out while I'm talking them through, haha

You need to show the players where the B point is before you give them an opportunity for a flank route. I haven't played your map yet so take what I have to say with a grain of salt but just watching it is pretty confusing. I think most people go on that immediate right side path towards point B because its the first path that's available and it's highlighted with a giant arrow sign. Even then, the B courtyard where you want all the fighting to be is too claustrophobic and has way too little cover to make it worth fighting for, it should be a lot bigger to fit 12v12. Another point about the B courtyard, I think the proximity and spacing of everything is just awkward, mostly everything is too close and requires a bunch of sharp turns and fighting through awkward geometry to get where you want to go. If you want people to go through the main B path more often, I'd say make the courtyard a lot bigger, make the entrance doorway a lot wider to signify that it is indeed the main path, direct all the flow of the players to the main path FIRST before allowing them to branch off the side paths.

As a novice map maker, I think the main issue is that there's too much enclosed space that twists and turns into itself. Looks like a fun but frustrating map for both teams, but blu especially.

Id move that box on the first point you said gives Red an easy way to halt any push from the balcony like area. And put it on the Blue side instead, maybe bring that fence but put a very specific hole in it for people to crouch jump through

What about moving the health and ammo form the flanking path to the main route so people would use it more. The health and ammo would be alluring but would also leave them with the risk of taking damage for it.

this reminds me of frontline maps just less gimmicky. also, what happened to frontline? Do you plan on doing anythign with it later or nah.

Frontline is an asset pack, it's used by a bunch of maps. Carrier recently got in and used some of it. I don't have any plans for another Frontline map at the moment, but possibly in the future, I'm not sure.

This map looks really odd. Reminds me of Barnblitz in that it doesn't make sense when you noclip out to see the whole map. I think you are onto something with the lower area, that reminds me of versions of cp_orange that have an underground "cave" system to traverse instead of the open space. I can imagine this to be a parts/automotive factory or a series of workshops with a common outdoor area, with three main levels (top, lower, sewers) with some workshops connected by a catwalk 5:12. Just thinking out loud, I know it is not what you are aiming for. But overall, I think you are making the right call with simplifying the layout. I still think having multiple levels of elevation in the same tight area is interesting. Have you considered making use of catapults to cut down on slopes?
