Maybe Hill is even faster than Pereira. But the point is that Pereira has a phenomenal reading of striking, which allows him to see "holes" in his opponent's game during the fight and quickly adjust to them. From his experience in kickboxing, he sees "things" in striking that other fighters simply cannot see. I think this is Pereira's biggest advantage over Hill.

No. Most of Pereira’s wins in the UFC he starts off losing until he either gets a KO or turns it up Was losing to jiri before the KO Was losing to Izzy before the TKO Was losing to Jan before he turned it up Was losing to michailidis before the KO I’m sure his gameplan isn’t to start off by getting dominated and risk getting finished before he can find his timing. If Hill hurts pereira, he’s not gonna give him time to recover.

Jiri was losing on his feet in the first round, taking some heavy calf kicks, when he used grappling - in a somewhat desperate way - to try to win the round. Pereira was beating Izzy when the Nigerian hit that bomb at the end of the 1st round. There was the issue of grappling in the 3rd round, which was a wrong attempt by Pereira to take down Izzy. Hence, the massacre on the 5th. Jan immediately switched to grappling, after guaranteeing that he would exchange with the Brazilian. Michaidilis achieved very little in grappling, even with Pereira making his UFC debut. In other words, Hill may even win, but it will certainly have nothing to do with your crude interpretation.

Then got taken down and unlike Jailton, Jiri was working and throwing strikes. Jiri was also smashing Pereira's face in round 2, mostly solved the leg kicks, but did eat some good return shots. Still he wobbled him like 2 times and pressed him. Jiri was tuning Alex before the KO. Lol he was losing to Izzy and would’ve lost to him UD if the TKO didn’t happen. You’re nitpicking

Massive respect to Jamal Hill but I don't think he has fought a guy who punches as hard as Pereira. Anthony Johnson was also a guy with freakish power and he put Glover's lights out. I think people under estimate or are unaware of how severe an Achilles rupture is for athletes. In most sports, it takes them a year to come back and usually they aren't back to normal until at least the 1.5-2 year mark. And in a sport where you rely on your Achilles for movement, power, balance, and many other moves in both striking and grappling, I think people are thinking Jamahal will be the same as he was pre rupture. I think it will hinder him a lot in the fight, and it will force him to grapple more. But his ego seems to be in the way of this game plan, similar to the Strickland fight, and I think it will end up poorly for JH if he doesn't utilize his grappling advantage. I think AP goes out and kicks the leg of jamahals repaired leg and it hinders him more than it would usually. Which is why I think AP gets the job done. Probably round 3.

Hill has crazy unorthodox striking and he don’t slow down like Alex. He throws combos every round and it’s hard to win a fight when someone spams you like that. His elbows are good too

This will be a good fight. Hill is very long. Has a good chin. Nice kicks and can put punches on the mark. Alex is.. Alex. The guy has seen it all in the stand up game and that's where Hill wants to take this one. Alex, and most technical fighters like him are like the horse that likes stay in the pack until the final turn to turn on the jets. That being said, I think the first round and half of the second round is Hill's best chance of winning this fight. His odds go down as time goes on. My prediction? Alex by KO. counter short right hook, 4th round. Hill has a tendency to throw these right hooks from Zimbabwe and unless he cleans that up, it could be a disaster. I didn't even mention the calf kicks by Alex. Good luck to both fighters.

Jamal’s greatest asset is his confidence and self belief. When You watch his fights he has heart like no other and brings constant pressure and is always looking to inflict massive damage. Hes a true warrior. But coming back off an injury and his most proud moment is taking out an old Glover, isn’t much to stand on. Alex has been a wrecking ball in two divisions. If Alex takes his time and can inflict damage and persevere Jamal’s pressure from the jump I see it easily going to Alex but I don’t think either of these guys are gonna have an easy night. Jamal has a very freestyle unpredictable and unorthodox style and long range that will be to his advantage. Alex has the experience advantage but Jamal has that unorthodox style that’s going to be a problem for Alex to solve.

I think this fight is more even than anybody is predicting. Jamahal really thrives in an in-the-pocket technical brawl, and Alex really excels as a sniper who can pin you against the cage and start to slug. So to me, it’s a matter of it jamahal can keep his back off the cage and taking 2-3 steps forward for every 1 step back, I think he might sleep our hero. If Alex can keep himself off the cage and maintain his range as he slowly pushes jamahal towards the edge, he’ll get it done. But I don’t expect this to be a fight that gets finished anywhere near the center of the octagon if there is a finish. Someone is going to end up with their back against the cage crumbling on it
