great video as always, i'm commenting to let you know that we really appreciate the subtitles i know they are pretty annoying to make but it makes it so much more enjoyable for us, also 2 tips that help me a lot with squats : first one is i bought powerlifing shoes " Adidas adipower" i think they were called and they had an elevated heel whit a very hard sole, that helped me alot with my poor mobility, second thing was playing arround with feet width, it's different for everyone but for me personally when i started i had my feet pretty wide but it felt very unnatural/uncomfortable, bringing my feet width a lot closer made it a lot more comfortable and enjoyable to squat, i'd strongly recommand you play with your feet width if that's something you didn't try yet !

Thanks for pointing this out man. Subtitles are a pain for me and lately, I’ve been losing them in iMovie when the app crashes on me, so I’m having to waste time saving and going back in multiple times, but it’s needed for you guys to hear the conversation since I don’t have a mic. The weightlifting shoes have arrived! How did you find the improved stability? Your squat depth was very good even without the lifters, but your feet look really planted now and true to the floor. I think you should experiment with pointing your toes out just slightly more, and maybe the tiniest widening of your stance. I think it will allow your groin to open up a bit more on the descent and I think you will find hitting depth easier. The small little hitch I'm referring to can be seen a bit starting at 11:30 -- seems like for a small fraction of a second your torso wiggles and loses a bit of balance. Of course, I can't tell how the movement feels from watching -- go with a position that feels strongest and most balanced to you! Keep squatting! You're making great progress. The recordings make it so helpful when trying to learn new technique in the gym!
@UFpwrLifter4 жыл бұрын
Yes! Thank you for the squat feedback!! Love the increased stability. They are heavy and flat and wider than a transitional shoe (the bottom portion has little wings). They certainly help keep my feet flat so I have a bigger foot print to stand up on. I will try these things, thanks again!!! 💪🙌👍
