Smoothies are 40g weight. Is it sufficient to bring the heavy ceramic key back fast enough?

It is to bring it back but it is not fast... I finally switch the sapce bar switch with the Kailh Heavy Yellow that was included with the keycaps!

i´m only on the game for a few weeks. my first keybord is a Hi75 with mda keycaps and nimbus v3 switches , bright new, no mods. And when i hear those ceramics, and i compare them to my keyboard i feel... lost... do i already get the grall at low cost ? my keyboard is a noisy thock, like a frog war. but thoses ceramics are too quite, i was expected a much more rich deep thocky...

At the end, the keyboard wil make a much greater sound difference than keycaps and switches....

You'll need kailh navy or pale blue at minimum with these keys to balance their weight.

They are not that much heavier in absolute numbers, ones in my set weigh a little over 3g each, so an actual problem might be only with spacebar

They would fit pretty welll you are right! But except for the space bar, they really are not a problem in a matter of weight!

I use Gazzew U4Tx (switched from the U4t) and they sound fantastic.

That depend of the switch... some are thockier, clackier... But some would sound exactly like the Smoothies.

No. I have sets on three of my boards. They're very durable. I have dropped them on a hard floor on occasion. No chips, no cracks, no scratches, no breaks.

I was worried it would be but plastic stem inside seems to reinforce them!

They are NOT fragile. Cerakey ceramic keycaps are extremely durable. Plus they have a one-year warranty.

​@@ClickandThockThe original version of these keycaps had ceramic stems and some of them wouldn't stay on the stems. V2 with plastic stems stay on as well as any other keycaps.

As novel and good looking as these keycaps seem to be, I feel I'd grow tired of them within a few weeks, I'm not sure why.
