Ultrasonic Cleaner Mix for working on motorcycles

Ultrasonic Cleaner mix I use for motorcycle parts.
30l Ultrasonic cleaner you can find in my Amazon Storefront.
- 5 gallons hot water
- 1/2 gallon Simple Green Pro HD
- Dawn dish soap
- 35-60 degrees C
- 5-20 minute cycles

I had access to a cleaner at my job. We used the soap the manufacturer of the machine recommended and it sucked! I reverted back to avgas in a cup on a box fan. I like your mixture.

I’m gonna have to try the simple green purple stuff you have. Too much of the original green formula turns my brass parts dark in my sonic washer.

Just make sure its exactly this. There are different ones. The green is no good for aluminum.

Hey BJ, how about a short on your soda blaster set up? Compressor, units it self, maybe the material you use/source?

My setup is nothing to copy lol. I just have a bag of harbor freight soda and the cabinet is unchanged from sand. I very much want a vapor hone cabinet

Celsius. The heat does a lot of the work. Too hot to handle when done

I also use the SG Heavy duty purple. It works great, much better than when I used normal SG and turned my carbs black haha. I am curious to why you use Dawn soap? Does it work better than just the water and the simple green HD?

@@BrickHouseBuilds That's pretty funny, but did you do tests with Dawn and without to see? Or is it just a hunch that it works better? I am going to try adding Dawn when I clean a set of CBX carbs to see if there is a change comparatively. I'm always looking to make carb cleans more thorough and time efficient.

@@willjohnson5861 I have not done any scientifically backed tests. I like using it but me saying its a good degreaser may not mean anything since combined with an industrial version. Try it for yourself and formulate your own evidence as its very low risk.

@@BrickHouseBuilds Sounds good to me! I trust if you are using it, I won't end up with blackened aluminum from trying it out. It definitely does the trick on dishes, and it is affordable to add to the solution. The company I bought my ultrasonic cleaner from has a solution that comes in a powder form you add to water, but it is so expensive I can't imagine it is that much better. They say it's specifically for carbs, but I don't know anyone who has tried those style of cleaners, have you had a chance to use them? The brand was SharperTEk if that matters.
