The big advantage for North American consumers is that the Umidigi F2 and Power 3 have an enormous selection of North American bands. As an example, both the F2 and the Power 3 have all six (2/4/5/12/66/71) of the T-Mobile bands. Whereas, most of the entry to mid level Chinese branded phones only have two or three of those bands, and none that I know of have the highly desirable "future-proof" 66 & 71 bands.

Hm, so I bought the Umidigi F1 for a super low price almost a year ago. While the phone is fast, amazing battery, nice screen, full screen display and damn low price, it DOES have it's flaws. Just a WORD OF WARNing below Umidigi has stopped supporting the F1. I literally need to TAP. . TAP TAP my camera to get it to focus. It's stupid but it's the only way to get the camera to work lol. There has been a few unresolved issues that you sort of have to live with because Umidigi stopped supporting it. issues like: Background apps closing if you switch apps. Annoying when on the internet and writing notes. They just close, no idea why. iffy fingerprint id So if you purchase an Umidigi, know you'll probably face some quality control & software issues that sadly you'll be stuck with down the road. Are these issues enough for me to say get a different phone... maybe. am i happy with my purchase, yes. Will I buy umidigi again, I'd probably pay the bit extra and go with the redmi. I do think if the price is right again, maybe I'll try my luck again. All depends on the competition. Its funny cause now this f2 just doesn't look as appealing knowing what comes with Umidigi :D

How about the audio quality of the loudspeaker? Cheaper phones tend to compromise on that. Still, very good phone for the price. I just hope it's also durable both inside and out.

Been looking at that phone, and another umidigi phone, the X. Quite confusing because other reviewers say f2 is plastic. Anyway, phone comes with great specs but needs software optimisation specially for the camera. And, BTW, you forgot to discuss about the screen and the speaker output

Maybe it is maybe it isn’t - I bought “the best Chinese flagship phone “ umidigi Z2 pro - as all the reviews were glowing about it - I was disappointed with the camera , the fact that the one app I really wanted on it ( to fly my drone ) kept crashing and signal of the 3G/4g reception that kept dropping - the seller on aliexpress tried to tell me it was the SIM card holder and other stupid stuff - then stopped replying to my requests - I’m just letting you know my experience - admittedly it felt great and was generally good other that it’s flaws ... just saying !!!!

I believe that in the budget segment : under 250 dollars the phones that give the best software are : Nokia, Motorola etc and the ones that give the best hardware are : Realme, Xiaomi and possibly Huawei but those are little bit more expensive. Realme 6 with 90Hz screen, quad camera with 64MP, G90T processor is just absurde for 200 dollars plus 30W Fast Charge 0-67% in 30 mins, something phones in 600 dollars don t offer. I see you Nokia. That phone is the best phone you can get under 200 dollars.

I wouldn't buy any Umidigi phone for gaming. The mediatek processors are definitely not good for that. I have purchased quite a few MTK based phones for testing purposes and was not impressed by a single one. The cheapest mid-upper range phone I have tried this year that was very gaming capable is the Realme X2 Pro. I paid $450 USD for the 128Gb/8Gb, the snapdragon 855+ with a battery that will last you literally up to 2 days of normal use that can be fully charged from empty to 100% in just about 35 minutes and honestly, it's the only one I have tested that impressed me enough to make it my daily driver. Save your money and buy something of a better quality. Heck, the Red Magic 5G is a little more then the Realme X2 Pro and it's amazing. A lot of smartphone companies are building better phones for less money. Now is the time to take advantage .
