I took a timelapse for over 2 hours to capture this incredible solar storm on Svalbard. It was vibrant, colourful and dancing across the entire sky right outside our cabin, for hours! 💚

It’s so crazy that back before social media and being able to travel that you could have things like this and no one would know about it beside the people there. It’s so crazy what so many don’t and will never experience.

Tip: Slow the video down to 0.25 and look for the variety of colors showing up, the shooting starts and earth's rotational movements along with a couple star patterns. The reflection in the water and of course the plane taking off.

I watch your videos for the pure joy you share with us about the winter season. It has helped me to have a better attitude about our 9 hours of daylight (gaining time now) and getting out and enjoying the day, despite the cold. I took a walk in the cold today because it was snowing so prettily and was able to capture some really pretty pictures of “snow sticking to stuff” along my route. We will be entering our coldest part of the year now and I’m just hoping for enough snow to go snow shoeing. It hasn’t happened yet…
