Pokemon Tetris is great by the way. It uses the shock sensor to allow you to mirror your tetris piece. It was only released in JP and EU though

Hey Colin, i strongly believe the Japanese games never had the type of Factory seals as in America (talking about the continent), japanese stores often put a plastic wrap to prevent more wear to the old boxes

I got the Chikorita green one back in the day from the Pokemon Center! :) Since then, I've amassed quite a nice Pokemon Mini collection including Togepi's Adventure and Pichu Bros Mini in the box

Is Super Potato still kind of "eh", or did it actually recover? I remember reading some articles a while back how Japanese retro game stores(including the aforementioned) have dried up significantly the last 5 years or so...

A Roadie You have to go outside of the big cities to find more gems and for cheaper (non-tourist) prices. Super Potato in Akhibara isn't what it once was but it was still packed floor to ceiling with all kinds of great stuff about six months ago - though it didn't have the items I was after. I did see severe stacks of Supergrafx consoles which is the kind of thing I know for a fact I'll never see again unless I make a return visit.

Colin, what's your favorite release of Tetris? Mine has got to be Tetris DX for Gameboy. I've tried other releases only to find that the mechanics aren't as tight, especially when it comes to the tetrahedrans locking into place. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts.

Some people love to hate it, but I have fond memories of Tetris Worlds on the GBA. Mostly for Cascade mode, I really like trying to build up big chain reactions.

It might be Heroic Goods and Games. They are the only other store, besides mine, that uses those specific price stickers, at least to my knowledge anyway. I've never spoke with the guy that runs it but he seems to be a good guy so I would check his place out.

The speaker is a piezo so not really a speaker. Piezos are used as both output and input which makes them pretty interesting.

Disrupt It Yourself "Piezoelectric" just refers to the interaction between electricity and mechanical stress. Piezo inputs and piezo outputs are different electrical components and cant just interchanged.

Interesting device, but it does not add anything to the main series titles for pokemon, there is another interesting device that shipped with pokemon heartgold and soulsilver, and that is the pokewalker.
