Videos like this serve as mechanism to encourage not just employers but others to be supportive and passionate, even if this video was 100% fake, it still send a good message, especially to young kids involved in gangs, it offers hope and optimistic outlook that you can turn around from wrong path. Why does every good thing that happens have to be a deity interfering? Why can't it just show the kindness and generosity of humans? Sometimes I think it really downgrades these sorts of wonderful acts of kindness to just write it off as 'god did this'. Idk it's nice and all for good wishes and praying for something good to happen but it makes this ceo a little devalued to just think that god sent her to do this, rather than someone trying to help a fellow person out :/ just been seeing a lot of these comments lol
@paisley3377
@paisley3377 Жыл бұрын
@@flamingarbre1284 Maybe because even if you don't believe in the God, many people not only believe, but have had supernatural things happen that proves God's existence to them. It's a matter of being able to open your heart. For those who do believe in God, there is the belief that all good things flow from the hand of God: our bodies, our minds, creation, etc. It is a fallen creation for the time being, so not everything on this planet is good. To those who believe, when human beings behave in a kind or good way, their are following the dictates of their conscience. Con means "with" and science means "knowledge". Conscience is God given but society shaped. Anyway, hope this helps you see the viewpoint from the perspective of believers who make the statements you don't agree with or quite understand. I pray the eyes of your understanding would be opened and you might be "born again" as Jesus taught.

It's incredible to think how much positivity the entire world could experience if CEOs, and incredibly wealthy people did this on a daily basis. Not handouts, these are hard working employees who still can't make ends meet. This can set those employees free from the chains of so much that holds them back. To know that a few individuals make more in a few hours than some of their employees do in a year, is simply unsustainable.

THIS is what people with money are meant to do. when you have this much money, it loses meaning to you. it could mean EVERYTHING to another person. 50k to her is nothing, she could lose that and not even mind it, it'll come back within a week. but now she has the power to help people, where $200 could mean the difference between their kids eating that week or not. that's what i want to do, i want to have money so i can have power to do good
@Nico-wg7dd

A week it’ll come back in less than a day, to her it’s just a tax write off. Before she was selected for the show, she could care less if he was on the streets back to doing drugs all over again. I remember watching a clip about one boss who was shocked that a cake maker rejected a cake to be made because she was understaffed. The boss’s look on her face seeing money going down the drain, yet she was working full weeks(12-14hr days) with a husband where they had 6 kids total. Sure she gave her $50k/1-week vacation, at the same time the undercover boss just didn’t care or made no effort to get more help. I forgot what episode it was, but the point I’m making is that these CEO’s don’t care at all. Just because they go on a tv show rewarding X-amount of people giving them life changing moments, sure it’s great but they go back to that same attitude when the shows over. I love the show but I don’t like how only X-amount of people are selected while the rest get tossed aside like garbage.

" that's what i want to do, i want to have money so i can have power to do good " That's what I used to think too and then I started encountering so much poverty that even handing out a few coins already started making a difference. Even though it does not help turn people's lives around, which I feel sucks. But it still means the difference between eating and not eating that day, indeed. I'd like to help empower people.
