Glad you finally finished this! Normally a power ballad wouldn't be my thing, but it just works in this album with the whole 80s vibe it has. Afterlife is just an epic ending too. There are a couple other Abyss related songs worth checking out too. Soulcoustic is a really cool acoustic version of Soulbound and the cover of Sunglasses At Night for the Japan release is so good. One of my favorite covers ever. You probably already figured it out by now, but the new album is a completely different story based on AI.

Frankly, I was shocked and saddened when she said she was stepping away from KZbin. I hope she is able to come back sooner or later. May 10, 2024, is the drop date for the next album: Phantoma! You and I think a like.. I'm glad you finished the story... what i liked about this album is that each song seemed to have a different influence.. like carry the flame, for example, could be a Journey song .. great job.. and look forward to the future !!!!

You should definitely check out more of their early stuff since you finished both of these albums. Like the song “Tonight We Ride” from their third album. As well as a song from the first album like “Black Goat of The Woods” or “Filth and The Fable” if you want to hear something really different by them.

Unleash The Archers have long left the obscure metal underground behind them, UTA more and more prevalent in the modern metal scene, their popularity and fan base increasing steadily since their inception in 2007. The first time I've heard Brittney Hayes' was the release date of their 2015 effort Time Stands Still. Two years later, the band returned to the studio, presenting a stronger sense of self-confidence, thus showing a fair advancement of an already impressive skill-set, delivering more advanced and immensely epic compositions, further fortifying their position among the upper echelons of modern metal. With the release of Abyss, an album that not only treads new grounds without sacrificing an ounce of their personality, but also outclasses their already excellent preceding release, the aforementioned 2017 offering - Apex. “Abyss” is diversified and abundant than ever, ranging from traditional NWOBHM to melodic death metal and modern metal vibes. UTA also opted to expand on incorporating 7-string guitars throughout, which offered more low-end range and dynamic space for the music to roam also utilized some expansion and experimentation of synth-wave music which became prominent during the British synth-new wave era of mid-1980's.
