I know this says this video was two years ago, but Tammy I am just now in June of ‘24 and I am just loving being in your kitchen and learning your tips as I watch you cook. My mom never cooked as fast as you can but yes mam,you bring multi tasking memories back to me. For big cooking my momma and daddy cooked together. My daddy was a cook in the Army and he was a master sgt. so he was head cook, married my momma when she was pretty young and was the one who taught her to cut up a chicken. By the time she was your age he was 10 years older so they were a good experienced pair in the kitchen. I love watching you cook!!❤❤

Tammy you are the best cook ever I have learned so much from you. You are good teacher. I now use white Lilly. I now do my pies in microwave thanks for that tip. Lemon and chocolate pie are my favorites for all the reasons you sat quick, easier tastes better. And your tip for managing to top pies. 20 min 350 great tip make sure the egg whites get done bake at least 20 minutes 350 temperature .I saw someone making a chocolate pie onto of stove in a shallow pot almost boiled over. When pie was finished they put maragine on cold pie baked in . oven for 8 minutes. I was shouting at the TV you have to bake it at least 20 minutes so as to cook those eggs when the pie was cut you could see the egg needed to cook longer. Keep those good dishes coming. I love making no bake chocolate oatmeal cookies the way you do. For getherings I use stevia instead of sugar. No body makes a cake like you. You can frost a cake the prettiest ever. Thank you collard valley lady. Love to watch you God bless you.

I “ain’t scared of eggs” either! I like my breakfast eggs over easy, so I’m used to a runny yolk. Gotta lick the bowl. That’s the best part of baking a cake!

I found White Lily flour in the store, and bought it. Started to use it, and it does taste better then what I was using. It did cost more, but it's worth it.

I cook homemade green beans casserole and I cook my green beans up like your “granny’s green beans” because I just don’t like the way green beans taste straight out of the can even with all the extra goodness. I have to cook those green beans up with lots of butter and onions and salt and pepper and cook them down for a couple of hours. Yum!

Tammy, I'm 71 and my Moma has been gone for 11 years now and I still miss her. You cook like she did and my Granny did. My daughter was taught their way of cooking and I thankfully can still cook. It is a way to keep close to my Moma with cooking....but, it's fun too. Love, love the way you cook. Hope you and your family have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

My cake layers fell apart. I haven't iced it or mashed the coconut on it yet. Layers are in the fridge. I watched it and it pulled away from the side of the pan and the bottom is done, it is just the top is really moist. I did add walnuts to it. It tastes like a dream, it is just falling apart.

Hallelujah! I have watched, or attempted to watch, several Thanksgiving cooking videos for new ideas and recipes for this year. Tammy I am telling you what, I know that some of these people call their food southern but let me tell you it’s not. On top of that, evidently some of them think they are supposed to entertain you because they act so silly and practically dance around in the kitchen. I am thrilled that your notification popped up. Girl show me how to do it again this year. Although I have the cook books there is nothing like watching you live. I am going to watch and enjoy and you and yours have a Thanksgiving. ❤️❤️
