Thanks for sharing your choices! I've been watching your videos recently and I really appreciate how you take cost and overall effectiveness into account and acknowledge that better, but not perfect, is what we should aim for. Small, baby steps towards changing diets into making it a full lifestyle is how people succeed.

You nailed it...small changes, not perfection will yield positive, sustainable results. I truly feel like it's us against big food companies. Just as I've experienced with big Pharma. Sadly it's profits over people. I appreciate your support and positive feedback. Thank you for watching!

I like buying the pecans & walnuts which are in the bakery section, great value and I lightly roast them.

Oats always raise my sugar. 😫

Really? That is surprising, are you using instant or old fashioned? Could you share how you prepare them? I'm very curious but if not I understand.

@@healthylivingrite Same as the person who posted. Same with nuts or anything w/ a higher amt of carbs. Perhaps insulin resistance or being 26 yr T2D, but nothing lowered my blood sugar anywhere near or below triple digits. Used to be on the highest doses of 3 meds AND insulin, which I hated.. & still had quite the high A1C & regular finger stick readings. A friend suggested this BBBE thing which I thought was insane based on all we've been taught over the years, everything nutritionists & Dr's told me, etc. Figured 30 days couldn't hurt me, I knew it wasn't going to make any change.. but would shut them up. lol WELL, 1st to admit how wrong I was. My 30 days has now turned into over a year. NEVER felt better, never better bloodwork & numbers in every way... double-digit blood sugar readings, always. Sleep, mental clarity, depression, energy, inflammation, weight.. everything improved. Never looking back. After the first week adapting, the cravings & desire for any of the ultra processed crap & sweets was gone. For me, meats, butter, bacon, eggs, quality salt is what I'll eat from now on. Oh & now... zero meds of any kind are needed. Plus, saves money at the grocery store too. lol :)

Hey that's Awesome! I love the low carb lifestyle, my only complaint is never being hungry. Lol... I have to literally schedule eating times to meet my protein goals. I think the BBBE diet is great! As I always say we need to find what works for us and what is sustainable. It all really comes down to consistency. It's definitely not a one size fits all world! BTW...amazing job getting off the meds and managing that T2D!!!🫶🏻 Thank you so much for sharing!🥰
