Upcycled Clothes (from Costco?!)

Upcycling can be addicting... Once you start to see potential in clothing that just needs a little altering, embellishing, or dyeing to become a closet favorite, it may be hard to stop. You might start by upcycling clothes from your closet or flipping thrift store finds, but soon other projects will catch your eye. You'll look around and see a world full of clothing that kinda fits and is kinda cute, but actually craves customization! Once you start searching through the clearance racks at your favorite big box stores, there's no turning back. You might even (*gasp*) search for upcycle projects while you're GROCERY SHOPPING!! You think not? It happened to me, and this is my story... I needed groceries- fruit, veggies, the works. As I wheeled a cart through my local Costco, I was inevitably draw towards... the clothing. Stacks of closet basics lay before me. Could any of these garments fit both my body AND my personal style?! With full faith in the powers of sewing, dyeing, painting, bedazzling, and all the crafty arts, I declared that they could and would!! :D Join me for the DIY adventure and see if you get inspired to try some upcycling of your own! Just don't forget your groceries! ;)

Honestly, I think if I were doing this project, I would have used blue trim. I think it is hard to see the red trim on the red shorts. My thoughts, not necessarily yours.
