Update: 4/30/21 (upcoming reviews, lists, possible remakes, new series)

Quick Update for the channel. I've been wanting to make this update since March... I am really far behind, and there's nothing I can do except say I'm sorry for the drought, and push through with the upcoming projects that are talked about in this video. Enjoy. :)

Edit: Doesn't seem like I'll be doing much on Odysee other having it as sort of a backup. The upload restrictions basically keep me from being able to upload anything in it's entirety. So that idea of updating and fine tuning older videos for Odysee won't be going into effect until the thing can handle bigger videos. (The current limit is 5 GB there).

I've done some reading about Odysee; my issues from what I've read are 1) It's shaping up to be a place for the alt-right, and 2) It uses blockchain technology, which is associated with environment-threatening cryptocurrency. Crypto also seems to be part of its pay model.

Based on what I've seen a number of places (like Twitter and Facebook) are basically pushing a far left approach. I think what it is is people trying to say it's alt right in order to shut it down (not the first time I've seen that). No idea about the Crypto thing but can we really say there is no website without flaw? KZbin gave itself the free speech award honor sponsored by youtube. Yeah...

I respect that you don't want to cover the entire history of a game in a review. We don't really need to know how nintendo got their start before a review of the newest Zelda game.

These sound pretty promising, and I'm looking forward to what's in store, but if you do end up bringing your updated lists and reviews over, it'd be really nice if you could unlist those older videos and put them in a public playlist rather than privating them. Just for that public preservation's sake, and I have quite a bit of nostalgia for many of those older videos.

I second this opinion. A lot of people are going to be sad to find out they can't rewatch a video from days long past. You may have reached these people in a unique way with those old videos, and to miss out on being able to reconnect from that is honestly tragic to think about.

I would LOVE to see your Mario 64 & DS review; not many ppl talk about the latter, sadly. And Rabbidluigi, in particular, bashes it as some of the worst remakes! WTH!! Also, can you do an F-Zero marathon, please?? The DS footage is fine as it is; please don't pressure over it like the Great Clement did! I'd also love for you to do more of your N64 games list. Also...I'd say don't remake them! I'll miss the old vids, and they're fine as they are! Plus, it'll take an eternity, I'm sure! Btw...I've made a couple countdowns of my own! ;)

Honestly the 3DS footage looks fine in my opinion. I definitely wouldn't be opposed to watching a whole video like that. Also, shot in the dark here, but maybe you could try using Citra and OBS for better footage if you really wanted to? I don't know just a random thought I had.

I know, and I know it's real easy but the thing is: this is my 3rd system in the 3DS family. My first one had the rubber on the thumbpad tear off and one of the shoulder buttons doesn't work. The Second one has the hinge completely broken off. So if I put any mods or hacks or unofficial programs on here and something happens Nintendo will NOT fix it. So it's kind of easy to see why I don't want to take chances with this thing.

I've never heard of odyssey, I understand it's a new platform but how many users does it have right now? I'm concerned that if you go to all the effort of redubbing your older videos, they won't get much traction.

Redoing the Kingdom Hearts reviews? Yes, but not for a while. The games made by Rare back then? Sadly I don't have my copy of Goldeneye with me but I do have Rare Replay for the others but I currently have no plans for them.

Also that’s too bad but it’s good to know that you have a way to do reviews for old Rare games when you’re eventually ready to plan to review them👍🏻 I have heard that Rare Replay is a fantastic collection of games it’s just too bad that it’s Xbox 1 exclusive cause I would love to have it but I don’t think buying one for it would be worth it even though there are 30 games. Take as much time as you need CJ. I will definitely wait patiently for those videos and I bet just like others you have made the wait will for sure be worth it cause you make great ones in my opinion😎❤️

@@cjszero01 actually i thought about it a bit. Bandai Namco still only has two.. And the pattern is the next character will be a disappointing sword rep or a disappointing rep for an overrepped series. So it's 50 50 betwen lloyd and rillaboom lol seriously though if they do add tales rep in a hypothetical season 3 i imagine itll coincide with Arise.

@@TheKoopaManSho1 Yeah it feels like the only hope Lloyd would have, would be if the Mii Costume STILL doesn't show up but man does this just not make sense. Let's not put the Heiachi Mii costume with a Tekken rep but let's hold off Lloyd until a Tekken rep... why? The only good thing about that is it really does make Rayman look that much more likely because of the Ubisoft Mii costumes but no Rayman or rep to go with them. I imagine the Mii costumes we'll get this time will be another Tekken character, Lloyd Swordfighter, maybe another Tales of Swordfighter, Nightmare from Soul Calibur as a swordfighter, and Klonoa as a Brawler. So either 4 or 5 Mii costumes this time per usual.

@@cjszero01 I hope nightmare isn't mii costume'd out i love soulcal and he'd be the go to for a rep.. well him and siegfried but you can easily do them both as the same if you use the SCIV versions. And we know at this point we can never say never, cuz sakurai might be effing with us again like with heihachi not being in the tekken pack.

It's just time to move on from youtube dude, you're spinning your wheels doing the same old stuff. The channel hasn't evolved or changed. Instead of doing the same old boring mario/zelda stuff just do whatever you want. Everyone already talks about them and trying something different can possibly bring new people to the channel
