Great video. I just installed one on my Ender 3 Pro and it works great running Marlin. Question: Do you have the spreadsheet listing all the various boards and their specs? You briefly show it around the 1:20 part in the video or have I missed it somewhere in the comments section. Thank you.

Looks like there is new Fysetc Cheetah v2.0 board. It has all the same features as SKR Mini E3 v3.0 + USB-C and selectable fan voltage. It looks very promising. I actually ordered one :)

Hi Maciej Kobus and ruiraptor, Just got my cheetah v2 and I'm struggling with it. Once installed and plugged in, all the motors make a loop movement of forward and backward. Nothing appears on the screen. The bed and hotend also raises their temperatures. Do you had any of these problems? Just plug and play?? Can't find any documentation about problems on Fysetc Cheetah v2.0. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
@maciejkobus2 жыл бұрын
@@dsicart Uhh, difficult question. You need to do some troubleshooting to figure it out. Better contact FYSETC and ask for help. I'm using Klipper and got everything working although there is hardware issue on the board with BLTouch so it needs modification to work. Also example configs from FYSETC are not correct for Ender 3 this is why I recommend starting from scratch.
@dsicart2 жыл бұрын
@@maciejkobus I took your advice and got in touch with the manufacturer directly. They kindly provided a firmware.bin file for flashin Marlin with the last version and config.h and config_adv.h files just in case for stock Ender 3 (v1). Perfect for me and the printer is super-silent now! Thanks Fysetc!

This is a great video and it is very helpful that you've put all these boards in one place. I was looking to see if you have a spreadsheet with all the specifications so they can be compared. Do you have one you can share? It would be helpful to include the amount of memory as well as the processor speed. Thank you.

Can you offer any similar input for the 10S PRO???? I like the 4.2.7 but is it the best choice. I know folks turn away from the ribbon cable but in auto restoration we swap harnesses all the time. Why not swap in the ender Harness and the 4.2.7 Board? Then the use interface way works with this combination???? Appreciate any info for 10S Pro Upgrades. Thanks Dennis

Hi @ruiraptor I need to replace the original motherboard of the creality cr-10 v3 2.5.2 because I can't get it in my country and I wanted to know if any of the BIGTREETECH brand motherboards work for the cr-10 v3
@CloydRoyal3 жыл бұрын
I went with the Creality 4.2.7 after killing my old board's fan port on the board, and I'm also too much of a coward to go with anything too different.

And how did you like the new board? Any review?
@CarbonGlassMan2 жыл бұрын
I need to replace the board in my original Ender 3, but I don't want to install firmware. I just want it to work and print the carbon/nylon and TPU filaments. I do have the Micro Swiss hot end and my original board had a version of Marlin on it so I could increase the nozzle temperature. I do not want to go through trying to figure out firmware and bootloaders again. I just want to plug it in, insert an SD card, click on print, and print. Will these boards do this right out of the box?
@thirtyfourvegas2 жыл бұрын
@CarbonGlassMan I was thinking the same thing. It’s not “plug and play” if you have to download firmware and bootloaders.

I have the RRF v1.1 board. It's a good 2209 board. But the SD card reader doesn't work well. It's not a snap in just a slide in like other boards but it will cause failure. If you have this board use TFT USB or card slot to print and it prints fine. I got it promotional for 28 bucks so I don't care about it. But others might care. If you print via USB or other means too with wifi it's also fine. Just don't expect to use it with a SD card on the mainboard reliably. I tried everything from BTT and online other have issue too. Just a bad connection or something.

I have CR-10 mini ... i don't mind taking another printer because i don't see any difference in the printer other than a couple of little things i also have with tiny upgrades. Also microswiss direct extruder + notchua fan. And a custom hermetically sealed wooden enclosure to maintain the set temperature. However, I would like to take a quiet motherboard that has slots for double Z, auto leveling and out of filament sensor. And possibly some other additions. I’m willing to set aside about $ 400-500 if needed for a full upgrade. Which motherboard fits the CR-10 mini? Can only filmware be inserted into any board somehow?

Parallel vs serial z-output! Parallel means the two z spindles can be driven independently. A requirement for G34. This requires at least 5 drivers !! Your description of some board are therefore wrong.
@ruiraptor Жыл бұрын
Hi Alles, you are making a confusion with the terms. What we mean by parallel is that the same driver has 2 outputs (connected in parallel) and this way, the same driver can drive 2 Z stepper motors. The parallel in this case is regarding the electrical connections of the 2 outputs/signals which are in parallel.

The boards are also compatible with the Ender 3 V2, however, the stock board that comes with the Ender 3 V2 is equipped with TMC (silent) drivers.
