I’m really happy to see a new upload...given what is going on over there with the fires this season, I admit that I have been worried for your safety. This place was a total disaster with everything tossed about with no regard for any of it. I’m guessing somebody was after seeing if they could find anything of real value in there. Sadly, most who do that wouldn’t recognize value if they did see it. The chair with hanger has been around for a long time, you place your suit and whatever else you want to wear the next day and it is all there, easy to find in the morning. Whatever this home once was, it feels like it had a final chapter as a drug dealer’s hide. It looks really sketchy to my eye, and it’s not just the contents strewn about...it is the random partially painted walls here and there, the walls just written on, and that wall of gun pinups. It almost looks like a bust went down in there with drawers and cupboards dumped out, and furniture upended to show the underside where drugs might have been hidden. So sad, because I’m sure it was once a beautiful home.. Most of your explores don’t feel as dark and dangerous as this one...and I can’t put my finger on why. Please stay safe out there, and thank you for bringing this to us. 🖤🇨🇦

My heart goes out to Australia for the fires. The house definitely does have a dark vibe to it.The kind I feel like I have to shake off like a dog once I get outside after a bath. The camouflage net and the room it was in looks to have been a war veteran's "Man Cave". Drug addicts likely tossed the place. I knew someone who had a little honda like the one in the back garden. :-) It's such a shame that this place couldn't be cleaned up and renovated. I think the last inhabitants had a hand in some of that destruction. What a mess, it's so sad, people have so little respect for property. Structurally it looked to be sound. What were the square holes in the floor from? Seemed to be in odd locations. Bet you could fill an entire trash truck with all the garbage, not including a load of metal for recycle and another load of busted up furniture. Looked like someone didn't want to see a drawer left in anything. It would be pricey to restore, especially that front door, the fireplaces, and the room with the camo net fireplace got modernized at some point - yuck. And all that amazing (but dry) yard. Cleaned up could be amazing. That place just breaks my heart, at some point it had been a beautiful home. Thanks for sharing, and stay safe! It looks like the area you were in is definatly affected by the heat/drought.
@urbexindigo51645 жыл бұрын
Hi Donelle yes very hot dry summer here for sure. The holes in the floor are usually from someone looking for something under there including guns! It did seem a very aggressive trashing to this place almost hatred based. a great old home been left trashed is always a shame. Thanks for watching :-)
@lladylobo15 жыл бұрын
I don't think I've ever seen this amount of trashing of a place before. It makes no sense to me. Even if kids were drinking there, I can't see them getting so rowdy as to do this. I can't help but wonder if the former residents were hated in some manner that enemies did this to spite them. I so love the stonework of the exterior of this house. It looks as if it was built for wealth at one time. The chair you saw is a dressing chair for a man. The suit jacket would be hung on the hanger, the suit pants would be hung over the bar, then shoes would be placed so that when he sat down he could put them on easily. They were a gentleman's item. The room with the camouflage curtain was probably used by squatters at one time. Stay safe.
@urbexindigo51645 жыл бұрын
Hi lladylobo, yes these red brick and stone homes are known as Villas here in Australia because they were indeed built for the upper middle class, they were above the common dwellings which were mainly cottages. I have wondered if this place was bikey related and something went wrong. Your right about the extent of the trashing! Someone went the extra yard to screw this one! Thanks for watching :-)

I think you might like this. Take a rose with the stem on it, cut the head of the flower off on a slant & take the leaves off. Take a potato & drill or use a knife and make a hole big enough to fit the stem without any wobble, go in about half way into the potato. Take a plastic bottle long enough to fit the stick in it. Cut off the bottom of the plastic bottle, remove the label & the top cover .(cap) After putting some soil in a pot , 4 or 5 inches, put the potato/rose stem into the pot and cover up the potato two or three inches. Then gently water. (You can plant 1, 2 or more together depending on the size of the pot) In a short while your pretty roses will grow. 👻🖑

Hi Rachgib 80, someone has been looking under the floor for things, also guns may have been hidden under there. Cheers for watching :-)

Wow; I get the vibe of extreme anger/rage from whoever left that place in the condition they did; big furniture tossed around, everything thrown all over and broken; smashed glass and filth. Ya, that place is sad.
@sallya.24125 жыл бұрын
Definitely an old house, brick walls on outside and where the stove used to be. Sad to see it trashed like that. Probably will be demolished as it looks to be in such poor state.

I also think they will decide to knock it down Sally, great old house though. Thanks for watching :-)

Lovely sentiment in the note. Someone who lived here had a violent fantasy life. The morons who trashed this have IQ's smaller than their hat size. Thanks for another great explore. Take care and be safe out there.

Threatening message on the door, did someone next door tell the local police? One all mighty mess, caused by mindless visitors?, would have been a lovely home, clutter and items every where.

This would have been a great find, for the life of me I will never understand what pleasure is gotten from trashing someone else's belongings, abandoned or not. The place was kinda creepy.
@choochoo13985 жыл бұрын
Good grief. Nasty. Previous owner must have been an obese heavy smoking woman, who lost control of her life many, many years ago. The poor dear became overwhelmed, severely neglected long before squatters and trashers set foot. Found it particularly interesting for a bathroom directly down the hall from the front door. Love the concept of an outhouse! All houses should have one 😊 Had an outside dunny last house I rented in Thebarton--door open catching a few rays whilst dropping the kids off at the pool 😉 Not so great during winter though. Great find. Stay safe 👍

Hi Mi buy, not surprised the home in Theby you rented had an outhouse, lots of old homes there and Torrensville :-) I like you assessment of the former owner and how things went down hill, kind of got that feel in there. Thanks for watching :-)

@@urbexindigo5164 Light Tce Theby. Oddly sad when I moved out of the split house. It had a presence in there, felt like an elderly male protecting and watching over me. Often would wake up to a huge dark shadow standing by the bed. Never felt threatened. The two cats would often stare at one point of the lounge room wall. Nothing there for what I could see. A few times the nutter from up the street caught me walking in the front door and yell "Mr X used to live in there" This nut job even opened the letter slot in the door and yelled it, oh and if I had ice cubes 😅 Soon stuffed and taped up that mail slot real quick. No, I don't know who Mr X was/ is or if he actually existed.

Boggles the mind trying to make sense of the type of people who get joy from trashing a place like this. 🤔 At first I thought it was a rental but the amount of old junk in the yard makes me think it was the same owners for many years. That ‘Disney On Parade’ souvenir book that was in the room beyond the kitchen would be from around 1972.

Could it be the occupants were thrown out (evicted) and just had to leave everything, or just left in the night and trashed it themselves

Sad if they give it to someone I bet they could clean it up and make a home out of it, the roof is intact but the cleanup and restoration would be worth it if it was considered a down payment. It would be allot of work but someone could have a home! Be safe!

looks like someone picked up a few clothes & hung them up. Maybe any urban explorers visiting a place that has been trashed like this could just spend ten minutes tidying a bit. Pick up some papers pile them in a drawer, or something. Then there is hope of improvement. If each urban explorer did this as policy it would be interesting to see the progress. Maybe before & after photos?
