Just noticed that the Reflex Site (at 9:09) gives you a field of view diameter of 4 cms, 1 cm larger than the Red Dot Site's 3 cms (at 3:01). This is one of the few times the Reflex's view is actually less cluttered than the RDS and allows for more peripheral awareness around the dot itself. The Reflex Warlorded with Grip or Silencer could be pleasant little combinations...

This gun has a slow cyclic rate around 600 rpm in real life. Pair that with its heftiness and low-power 9x19mm round, and you have a very controllable firearm in full-auto. In-game it fires over 50% faster and kicks like a mule. It handles much more like a Mini-Uzi in this game, and almost like a Micro-Uzi when you equip Rapid Fire.

Yes. Uzi is supposed to be a very easy handling. Probably similar to MP7. However in COD games the Uzi family usually has crazy firerate and low accuracy.

People say its useless, but if you equip it with an extended mag, throw on steady aim and lightweight, you have a lethal hipfire weapon. Throw in akimbo pythons, you have a lethal loadout.

The Uzi is actually really effective with rapid-fire and steady aim if you adopt a shotgun mentality and only engage at close range. Basically if your far enough away from them to require aiming down sight you are completely outclassed by practically every other primary however if your up close with a steady aim rapid fire Uzi you surprisingly outclass quite a few of the other primaries.(Shotguns excluded obviously).

Michael Henriquez Those are just general strategies you can use with any SMG, not just the Uzi. Anybody can win a surprise 1v1 with any SMG if their aim is true (even Dual Wield SMG's), and if you want a support weapon, the Spectre pretty much plays the exact same role, or any role the Uzi can play for that matter, except with much better accuracy. The only way I think you could ever value the Uzi over the Spectre is if you truly need an extra 8 starting rounds in your starting ammo loadout, which is exceedingly rare. I remain unconvinced from your arguments. Unless you have an actual *statistical* reason as to why the Uzi should be used au lieu of the MPL or Spectre, I'll believe you don't actually have one.

ah the uzi.. def not perfect, but not as bad as people thought. I found the recoil was only a problem when you went for targets outside it's effective range. the irons actually helped me to play to it's strengths and never used a sight. the decoy grenades worked in tandem with the uzi.. and was capable of the largest mag size almost reaching 50... back in the day this was incredibly helpful to me in domination. completely misunderstood weapon....

When he did the Weapon Guides for CoD ELITE his contract had some fine print saying he couldn't do any similar weapon guides for MW3 on KZbin. He didn't find this out until he was several episodes deep into Weapon Guide Express, and all of those episodes got taken down. So he's left only being able to cover weapon history for MW3 guns - that's why he's opted to produce Weapons of Modern Warfare.

Hello, this is XBOXAHOY, and this is Ultimate Weapon. Today, its the FMG9 from MW3. The FMG( or Fu**ing Massacre Gun 9 is a destructively powerful gun in MW3. Its fire rate is Over 9000 kills a minute, which is extremely fast. It also has a damage of 100000 at close range and can drop people in 0.00000000000000000000000000000001 milliseconds. The best attachment by far is the Akimbo attachment, doubling the amount of ammo to 72 and the damage output to 12000 kills a minute. (Ultimate Weapon)

Why do people hate the Uzi but LOVE the F2000? The Uzi has SMG crosshairs & handling. The F2000 has assault rifle crosshairs & handling. The Uzi has very small irons & it shakes CONSTANTLY when you fire. The F2000 has a LOT more muzzle flash, but has a larger ring around its front post than the Uzi, so it's much easier to acquire targets with. The Uzi is better hipfired but the F2000 doesn't tie up your perk slot for sleight of hand. I think that the assault rifle pros outweigh the SMG pros here

the only practical reason to use this thing is if you want to use something like the mpl but aren't a high enough level yet. the very slightly faster switch speed to a non-pistol secondary and 3 more rounds with extended mag don't help to make the uzi competitive.

I loved the mini uzi, and tried this out and wasn't all that happy with it. It made me mad that the Uzi, the gun of the Cold War, was so useless. Even after seeing it in TONS of action movies and things, this gun just didn't perform well. I then realized that I was using it wrong. Its a hip fire weapon! Once I figured that out, it was good. Slapped on a red dot sight to help too! If you never tried this gun, give it a chance!

It's not the least bit practical to mount optics on a gun like this that has a reciprocal charging handle on top. But in-game, it doesn't reciprocate (which would actually be an improvement, though how it's possible to make that work with an open-bolt SMG is beyond my comprehension). The stock should be a standard feature. Only idiots fire with the stock collapsed or removed (and they'd certainly get smoked by a drill instructor for doing so). "Grip" should do what it usually does, putting a foregrip on the gun for better handling. And part of the reason the iron sights are terrible (aside from the fact that they actually are on the Uzi IRL) is because the gun is too close to your "eye" while aiming. IF you were to fire this type of weapon sans-stock, you'd want a foregrip on it, and you'd straighten your support arm to take the recoil (as per correct technique with the MP5K).

The thing about the Uzi is that once you unlock the Spectre the only advantage the Uzi has is 2-3 extra bullets in the magazine, depending on if you're using extended mags. So in other words, there is no reason to use the Uzi once you unlock the Spectre. As a matter of fact, the Spectre makes plenty of the SMGs feel totally worthless. This was always my problem with Black Ops weapon balance. All the guns felt so similar, and often there would be one in each group of similar weapons that were clearly the best. The Uzi should have had a faster fire rate than the Spectre, making it the obvious best for close range spray and pray.

This all depends on which of the 2 sides you start on. If you start off playing console you'll have a harder time aiming with the mouse. Not that it's difficult in any way. I agree on the fact that the controller sticks take a much longer time to master, but if you aren't skilled with a mouse you'll still lose to those who are in a fair gunfight.

I will never understand how Treyarch looked at Infinity Ward's treatment of the Mini-Uzi, a weapon that had way too much recoil in COD4, and remained a lesser SMG option despite receiving a severe recoil reduction in MW2, and thought that the MW2 Mini-Uzi was simply too good for this game to handle. The Uzi's recoil is abysmal in this game, and coupled with those ATROCIOUS iron sights, the Uzi is hip-fire only as far as I'm concerned, with aiming down the sights reserved only in extreme circumstances. The recoil is far less concerning when fired from the hip, and it allows you to take the best advantage of the Uzi's best attachments, that being either Extended Mags or Rapid Fire. The Uzi's accuracy issues are beyond saving. Even if you go for a Red Dot Sight and a Grip, you still have enormous recoil to contend with that can burn you in the cruelest of ways. The uzi is my 5th most used weapon! I have about 4000 kills with it! With the cz75, L96a1, mp5k and ak47 the only weapons above it!

The problem is that the words good and bad are relative, so the ratio of people at the bottom of rankings (ie. the people that are "bad") vs the people at the top of the rankings (ie. the people that are "good") will the same because that is how rankings work

I know I'm just being a gun nerd here, but the full-sized Uzi, like the one in-game has a slower rate of fire than 937.5. Rather, it has a slower 650 RPM. The smaller Uzi variants, though, have the faster 900-950 RPM.

If your willing to continue the "Ultimate Weapon" guide, the cannon from Serious Sam series might be a good choice.
