Late Vayalar Ramavarma quite beautifully wrote those Lines with Kumaranassan and Veenapoovu in it which has been well composed by music wizard late M. S. Viswanathan, and he rightly chose Yesudas to sing this song, as it might be a unanimous selection fully knowing about the musical capabilities of the great singer. The success of this song , the credit of which should go to both MSV and Yesudas who really deserve heaps of praise and appreciations.

അന്ന് ഞാൻ ഏറെ ഇഷ്ടപ്പെട്ട ആബേരി രാഗത്തിലെ മനോഹരമായ ഒരു പഴയ ഗാനത്തിലേക്കാണ് എന്റെ മനസ്സ് നീങ്ങുന്നത്! പ്രണയമാണ് ലോകത്തെ കറക്കുന്നത്, അത് ഒരു ക്ലീഷെ പോലെയാണെന്നു കൂടി ചില നേരങ്ങളിൽ പറയാം...പക്ഷേ ഞാൻ പ്രണയഗാനങ്ങളെ ഇഷ്ട്ടപ്പെടുന്നു ..എല്ലാ രൂപത്തിലും ശ്വസിക്കുന്നു, തിരയുന്നു, വേദനിക്കുന്നു, ആശ്ലേഷിക്കുന്നു...പ്രണയം ചന്ദ്രനില്ലാത്ത രാത്രികളെ തെളിച്ചമുള്ളതും മേഘാവൃതമായ പകലുകളുമാക്കുന്നു!!! ...എന്ന് ഇന്നും മനസ്സിലാക്കുന്നു . ലെജൻഡ് KS സേതുമാധവൻ സംവിധാനം ചെയ്ത 'ജീവിക്കാൻ മറന്നു പോയ സ്ത്രീ'..( സ്ക്രീൻ പ്ലേ അദ്ദേഹം തന്നെ നിർവ്വഹി ച്ചു; കഥ വെട്ടൂർ രാമൻ നായരുടെ ആണ്..സംഭാഷണം തോപ്പിൽ ഭാസിയും ) തീയേറ്ററിൽ അന്ന് കരയിപ്പിച്ച മൂവിയിലെ ഗാനം..എന്തോ..എന്നും ഇന്നും ഈ ഗാനം മനസ്സിൽ ഒരു വിങ്ങലോടെ ...കണ്ണുകളിൽ അശ്രുധാരകൾ പൊഴിഞ്ഞുകൊണ്ടേ മാത്രമേ കേൾക്കാനും.. ഒന്ന് മൂളാനും സാധിക്കുന്നുള്ളൂ...ഈ നിമിഷത്തിലും!!! ഇതേ ഗാനം നായിക പാടുന്നതുമുണ്ട്(S ജാനകി ). അവർണ്ണനീയമായ ദുഃഖസ്മരണകൾ ഉണർത്തിയ ഗാനത്തെ സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു... അതിനാൽ ഇന്നത്തെ പ്രഭാതത്തെ ആഘോഷിക്കുന്നു എന്നേ ഞാൻ പറയുകയുള്ളൂ!

I have no other go ..just cry at this poignant moment !!! The heroine sings the same song (S Janaki). I love the song that evokes indescribable sad memories ... So I would still say..I celebrate this morning..this way !
