I made these videos with the feeling of guiding my friends who are coming to Japan.
I love going to supermarkets when I travel, but it is really difficult for vegans to shop without a guide.
A vegan clerk at a supermarket where I traveled gave me a tour of the store, which was a wonderful memory.
Her guide helped me to find products that I would not have been able to find on my own.
I hope this video helps to make your trip more enjoyable.

When eating processed foods in Japan, it is almost impossible to avoid it.
* The origin of each obscure seasonings and food additives has not been confirmed.
Whether or not I introduce it in this video is based on my personal experience.
There isn't 100% certainty, so please make your own judgments.
For example,
”Protein hydrolysate (contains soy)” is usually derived from soybeans, so I introduce it.
In the case of "protein hydrolysate (contains pork)", of course,
"Protein hydrolysate", without brackets, are basically excluded.
But if products containing protein hydrolysate without brackets are often introduced as vegan on SNS, I include them.

So many great looking products. Why is a company testing tomatoes on animals!? What has been done to the tomatoes!? I'm very jealous, so many foods you get to try 😋

They do animal testing to prove the health benefits of tomatoes. Whether tomatoes can cure diseases, etc... As an advertisement to increase sales. So I was shocked that VegProject certifies Kagome's products as "vegan." I think it is a certification for each product, though... I hear that Australia is a vegan advanced country. Surely there must be a lot of vegan food out there...

@@ajapaneseveganskitchench extra healthy tomatoes sounds good. It is also interesting because I've seen studies on how less nutritious fruits and veg are now, compared to in the past. Vegan food has seen a lot of growth, coincidentally so has dairy and beef advertising. I liked seeing the different tofu varieties, I am quite limited here. I like experimenting with it though.

@@hubtubby If my memory is correct, their experiment I read on their website was make the animals sick, then they give tomatoes to some of them and don't give to some of them, and see the progress... Fruits and veg are less nutritious. I heard that too...

@@ajapaneseveganskitchench oh that's not a nice experiment. It's actually what it feels more like in Australia. One big experiment, people make you sick and angry, but they just see what they can do to make you forget it. Clowns, sports, drugs or more work. 😔
