I’ve even gotten my boyfriend to say “oh well if it was a Lauren Toyota recipe, I wouldn’t have questioned it.” Having started our transition to the Vegan lifestyle in Jan, your chatelaine vegan Cesar Salad video was literally the first vegan food video I ever watched, the first vegan recreation I’ve ever recreated and literally the ONLY persons recipes that worked in every way. You always have the best balance of flavours and really take all my concerns into consideration and what’s more: I know you have tested and measured everything for quality assurance and let me tell you it does not go unnoticed!!!!!! I’ve tried dozens of other vegan recipes that I’ve seen from blogs, vlogs, Facebook, insta etc and really NONE, except for those by the minimalist baker, (who I found out that you worked with!!! Ahaha FIGURES!!!!!) have ever really measured up. not only in terms of flavour but balance and nutrition. I mean I tried these vegan brownies with 2 cups of sugar and then made your brownies out of the hot for food cookbook (which I bought the eBook of before you even went on tour!!!!!!) and seriously..... I’m never going back, I’m never trusting anyone else. You get high volumes of nutrients in everything so I don’t even feel like I’m eating junk food (there’s freaking flax in the brownies!!!!) AND THE TASTE IS SO MUCH BETTER!!!! You are tried and true and it’s insane how lucky I got landing upon your channel!!! I have since, bought your book and am following you on all your social media sites and channels!!!! Even some of your clothing and skin care lines instas...I’m so happy I was able to get everything I’ve ever wanted to say to you out, knowing that you are actually going to read this! Congratulations Lauren! On all of your successes, you truly and wonderfully deserve it!!!!!!!!!!! This is such a sweet thing to read. I started my transition to becoming vegan in Jan, too! Let me just say that I wholeheartedly agree with your entire comment! Vegan food has really taken me by surprise. And you can never go wrong with anything from hot for food! Even when you're eating "unhealthy" food, you're still getting nutrients in some way. Talk about a win-win! Plus, with all the resources available you can literally veganize anything nowadays. Now, I just got to get my picky boyfriend to try something when I see him again, haha.
