I’m only 44, but just 2 years ago I felt as though my body was literally falling apart and I would never make it another 20 years, let alone another 40 or more. Now, just 18 months after starting The Starch Solution, I feel better than I did at age 18; I feel better than I probably have my entire life! I’ve lost all excess 75lbs that I thought I could never lose and no longer have symptoms like constant headaches and heartburn, along with other issues. Thank you Dr. McDougall! I’m so grateful for his brutal honesty.

Why green and "yellow" vegetables rather than green and red? Red bell peppers have the most vitamin c iirc compared to yellow/green and tomatoes, another red food has lycopene in it. What is any good about yellow? Also you can find stone milled whole wheat flour that is less processed compared to this modern flour and that's probably fine I imagine but I do stick to eating grains in their whole form such as Farro, steel cut oats, and Barley and eat them just as I would a bowl of rice, easy form of incredibly healthy starch.

I love Dr. McDougall's contributions, which are PHENOMENALLY important -- but vehemently disagree with his belief in Darwinism and human evolution. Never believed it. Probably nobody cares what I think, but I'm just saying...

So what... Eat the foods deemed by God to be most health promoting. That's it.

@@grimreaper4109 So what? So it has taken away the inspiration and enjoyment of listening to him (and Dr. Lisle and all the others who harp on and on with the lie which they have fallen for; that is, that humans used to be apes). Shoot, no one ever had to tell me even as a child that that was a ridiculous hypothesis. It is EXTREMELY unscientific -- and any and all proofs it was true turned out to be hoaxes. That is because it is not true.

So eat your beef steak, French fries and ice cream while you read the Bible. It's up to all of us to take responsibility for our own health. Do what you will. 🙏
