இதுவரைக்கும் எனக்கு கோதுமை தோசையே பிடிக்காது. இப்ப நீங்க செய்துக் காட்டிய முறையில் செய்து நானும் என் குழந்தைகளும் சாப்பிட்டோம். மிகவும் நன்றாக இருக்கிறது அம்மா என்று குழந்தைகளும் கூறினார்கள் எனக்கும் மிகவும் பிடித்துவிட்டது. அதற்காக உங்களுக்கு என் நன்றியை உரித்தாக்குகிறேன். நன்றி ஐயா.

அட டட டா, அருமையோ அருமை. கல்யாண வீட்டில் சாப்பிட்டாலும், வீட்டில் நல்ல வகையில் செய்து சாப்பிட்டாலும் கிடைக்காத ருசியா ருசி. மிக மிக எளிதாக, கண்டதையும் போட்டு கலக்காமல் குறைந்த செலவில் குறைந்த நேரத்தில் நாவிற்கு விருந்தளித்த வெங்கடேசன் அம்மா விற்கும் அதை எங்களுக்கு பயிற்றுவித்த வெங்கடேசன் சாருக்கும் பல கோடி வந்தனம். 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

Thanks sir. I also used to make like this but I slit ordinary gr. Chillies and add the bajji chilly too after putting mustard as my husband likes this way. Sometimes I mix in curd the besan. . I squeeze lemon before serving.

Hello sir! Usually I don’t like gothuma dosa, but my MIL used to make that a lot; she passed away 6 yrs ago. Nowadays I make it frequently. When you said “ ammanga! Eppadi thappavum… brought tears to my eyes!! May God bless you for the love and passion you bring to our food.

Have tried this at home....(I do it regularly ofcourse, but this time with ur tips like, adding sugar to the batter) and it came out fantastic sir......usually it will b sticky when I do, but this time the color came out was deadly and easy to flip it sides.....amazing!! Sir truely it is idhayam thotta samayal. My husband and myself loved this tiffen. I never thought this will be of amazing taste. Cooked this dish for the first time and taste was unbelievable

Sir, I always believed that something has to be added to wheat flour to make dosa. Now, we will make dosa with only wheat flour and vb sir’s Bombay chutney. Thank u sir.

47 years back when I was staying as a bachelor in Central Government Quarters in Sion Koliwada (Antop Hill now) behind Shanmukhananda Hall I learnt to make Bombay chutney to eat with chapparhi.Later, when I visit native place Ponneri near Madras I used to make this chutney in my house. You revived my memory .

Used to do this twice a week when working 11 years overseas as bachelor. The sweet version is using Dosa is brown sugar.

To mix any flour with water to make a batter just take the required quantity of flour and pour sufficient quantity of water . Keep aside for few minutes. Now u mix with a spoon. U will get a lump less batter easily

I tried in iron tawa. Came out well. Thanks a lot sir. Very tasty. I even tried with multigrain atta, which I do. It also came out well. Vazhga Valamudan.

Bombay chutney is called pitla in maharashtra/mumbai.Garlic also can be added for flavour.Goes well with roti/ chapati.Every one makes it on a rainy day,when there is no veg # home.They dont add tomatoes.instead lemon juice.It is called poor man' s food 😀
