I read her essay. She has a fundamental misunderstanding of what being trans means. Trans ideology has ALWAYS included the notion of cis people. Disconnecting sex and gender is not ever meant to erase sex. Trans people are WELL AWARE of their biological sex-- that's kind of the whole point of dysphoria. They have never tried to erase that or pressure people into caring less about women's issues because of it. Seems to me that JK is speaking from a place of fear rather than meditated concern.

@@scarletteblue403 Well the two examples i remember atm are that the banking goblins are antisemetic stereotypes (that one isn't obvious or confirmed so it could be wrong but it's p likely) and the ONLY East-Asian character in the books is named "Cho Chang", which isn't an East-Asian name and was probably just picked because JK though it "sounded Asian" I might have gotten some things wrong there though and there are definitely more examples, I just haven't read the books in a long time, so if you want more detail I'd suggest you ask an actual POC who knows a lot more about this if you can

MeLaNiA MaRtInI nice pun lol. And I’m an exclusionist because I’ve personally seen the negative effects including everyone for the sake of inclusion can have. Ace people are totally valid, but I think they should have their own space. The LGBT community was created out of necessity, for those who experience sga (same gender attraction) and/or gender dysphoria. Trans gay aces are trans and gay, so why are cis straight aces considered LGBT? I have lots of cis straight ace friends who don’t feel comfortable ‘invading’ LGBT spaces. It’s the same as intersex people - a lot of them felt that they shouldn’t be included under the LGBT umbrella and they have their own space. Gate keeping (to a reasonable degree) is necessary to keep the LGBT community intact. If we let everybody who wants to be included in, the community has no meaning anymore. The endless letters being added to the community make a mockery out of us and also force L, G, B and T people out of the community. Sorry for the essay
