Keep up the vintage videos. I know there is not a lot of us. And most of us don’t know how to use computers. But these videos will be useful for years to come when these become popular when they become rare.

The last time I performed this on a small frame was in 1984 in my best friends kitchen and surprisingly I remembered it so knew your next step to my surprise. We didn't do this procedure with the engine in the frame as we didn't know it could be done like this. Thank you I have subscribed and hope to learn some more.

Thanks for the Video! I also recommend NOT to use a 4 disc clutch, like from malossi, ferodo or other "sport" clutches, because the seperating of 4 discs when pulling the clutch is almost not possible. Problem is that the compressed spring is mostly not parallel and then the clutch discs don't separate. So you cannot get into neutral and engage other gears. Simply use the 3 disc clutches and the polini spring. Then all works very fine. I use this at a 130 polini, 19 SHB carburetor and polini exhaust. All perfect. Greetings from Vienna/Austria

Great video. Just about to do this myself so perfect timing ! I bought a clutch holding tool, but watching this, I just realised the tool wont work with the clutch in place because the clutch covers the tabs that the tool is supposed to sit into....will have to try the copper coin

The old time honoured way was to soak the corks in oil for a length of time to maintain full penetration of the oil into the plates, I still use a ziplock bag whenever I does mine lol

Thanks for that video. Really useful and makes it all too easy. However, I have a question - I'm new to smallframes. What would you suggest where the wheel hub - the blate in front of the brake shoes - doesn't want to come off? I tried loads of penetrating fluid, a puller and a heat gun and the thing just won't budge. I'm afraid to use too much brute force of a puller. Short of stripping the engine and splitting the case, any bright ideas??
