SpongeBob and Family Guy got way better tho. I would say both had their low points and definitive golden ages, but their current modern eras each have their own merits. Remember that time they dressed up Bubble Bass as the Nostalgia Critic and put Red Mist Squidward in an actual episode? Far from feeling like jumping the shark, the show feels like it's truly just become full circle, being worked on by the same people that grew up watching it when they were young.

@@thecactussword4304 the point about them referencing stuff as a positive is iffy cuz the references themselves don't carry the episode. Sure, the homage to these internet things are far more interesting than basic movie references like is done with the matrix or terminator, but it's still just a reference. If the episodes don't really get acknowledged outside of the one reference to internet stuff, I feel like it speaks a lot to the actual entertainment value.

Maybe it's rose colored glasses; I ADORED Rugrats as a kid and was smack dab in the age range of the characters in All Growed/Grown Up, but it just felt special to me to see those characters growing into new people, while still retaining their own unique charms. MLaaTR might just be the best show that never fully got to soar with such a short run across its three seasons. They got some heat out of the premise, but either 2 more seasons or one of the revival movies like they did for Zim, Rocko or Arnold woulda been soooo cool to see. Jenny was also such a relatable character for anyone growing up and the mom was goddamn hilarious bro. Anyway, great vid! Klasky-Csupo only really cooked with Rugrats and Ginger but man those were two for the books no joke. Made sense that Craig Bartlett did work for Rugrats as a story editor in a couple of the early seasons before getting to Arnold. Man's a genius

Catscratch was wild. Quotable af. My sister still says, if the cornbread don't know what's cooking, you can't expect the fish to go to school. I've said thay shit and made it make sense lol It was like a nickelodeon cartoon cartoon

You have to rank FOP high for the same reason we rank SpongeBob high. The early seasons were MAGIC

I hated ren and stimpy as a kid but if you cant appreciate the insanely good animation and the anti commercial aesthetic as an adult cartoon fan i don't know what to tell you. GOAT

Don’t know what to tell you either! That cartoon stinks on ice lol.

@@ToonrificTariq They literally wouldn't draw the same frame twice so to stay creative lol, it's way too high quality to just dismiss imo. Fair enough though lol, it's hard to argue something out of disliking something. It is an extremely unpleasant, violent, un kid-friendly show and that's not for everyone

@@JimmyneutronwasokayIguess I appreciate you seeing it that way because most people under this video refuse to lol it’s a very important and influential cartoon, it’s cool that they developed their own philosophies to make the drawings stand out, but that won’t change the fact that I utterly hate everything about it 😂 it’s definitely not for everyone!

It's worth noting that The Rugrats Movie set up a cinematic universe 10 years before Iron Man was even released. Also like Iron Man, Rugrats had a sequel and introduced another standalone movie from another franchise, The Wild Thornberrys. And then both shows crossed over with Rugrats Go Wild!

Loud House seasons 1-4 belongs in good and seasons 5-present belong in smd. I am not a fan of the unrealistic direction they went in in the later episodes. They really ran out of ideas.
