@@cannedstarfish6194 Exactly. What those western countries are doing, pumping more weapons into Ukraine, is the opposite of what would help bring negotiations back and peace closer. Unless NATO actually gets involved, the Donbass is independent from Ukraine so I don't see why they still do it unless to fuel the war like they did in Syria - almost exact same, but instead of jihads they use they use the armed forces of Ukraine, which for the most part are not Nazi. It is true that Russia is the aggressor, but context always matters, *always* Ukraine is simply a pawn in this chess game of west *vs* east.

So it's ethno-nationalism vs ethno-nationalism? Wonderful.
@jcarter32388 жыл бұрын
BrainBytes It's a reaction people have when being violently targeted for being loyal to their previous government that was also violently ousted by thugs. And technically, the land was Russian but was given in exchange for several things. But the Ukraine has squelched on their deal so I'd say they're taking it easy on the Ukraine when contractually the land should go back to Russia since the contract is no longer being honored or recognized. Don't you think? Either way, it's between them and no other country should get involved financially or militarily.
@brainbytes34848 жыл бұрын
I express solidarity to the the DPR, but in the end, they are being used by Putin right now. The communists that made up the republic are losing power in the face of Russia's neoliberalism. The days of the USSR are (sadly) gone. That said, I recognize Crimea as free from Ukraine, and if the the rest of eastern ukraine wishes, they should be allowed as well. I'm only concerned this is going to devolve into what my post said: two ethno nationalist sides foghting it out, one side supported by western powers, and the other by Putin.
@jcarter32388 жыл бұрын
BrainBytes Hmmm. Well I'm not sad the USSR is not in existence, nor are any of my in-laws currently living in Kiev and Russia. And I'm not sure what you mean by being used by Putin. Would it be bad geopolitically for Putin if the EU grabbed Ukraine? Of course. But it would be equally bad for the people in Ukraine. And culturally speaking it would be the death of any nuclear family values. I guess I'm not seeing how they're being used or exploited when it's mutually beneficial.
@brainbytes34848 жыл бұрын
But did you not just say that other countries should stay out of this both militarily and financially? Regarding the USSR, it was the other superpower preventing the US from becoming the sole superpower. It prevented what the US wants right now, military and financial hegemony of american interests around the world. While the USSR has a terrible past regarding human rights violations, I am in the camp it could have been saved, albeit some restructuring (perhaps more of a confederacy). We're seeing this in NATO's expansion eastward past germany, which Bush H.W and NATO promised Gorbachev wouldn't happen in exchange for a united germany. With the collapse of the USSR, that deal disappeared. The Ukrainian conflict largely stems from NATOs expansion into Georgia and Ukraine, and the pressure it is putting on Russia through this. In regards to the exploitation by Putin? Like I said, I admire the DPR for standing up against Ukraine's semi-fascist government. But, many of these separatists are former soviet citizens or communists who want to return to the system they had before. Now that the DPR is more tied with Russia, that wing of revolutionaries and leftists no longer have influence, and instead are part of Putin's plans of political posturing and economic neoliberalism. That's mainly why I don't see it as mutually beneficial, but instead as a lopsided deal for the DPR.
@jcarter32388 жыл бұрын
BrainBytes Well the end goal IS to become one with Russia. They simply had to break free first from the Ukraine. Regarding America, it's the NWO (and yes NATO is a big part of that) that Bush was so fond of, rearing its ugly head only now the status quo calls it globalism. The EU was the giant first leap for globalism. The democrats and a good chunk of republicans are huge supporters of this. There is a lot of money to be made in globalism for a circle at the top, the next tier does it in the name of utopia, perfect world, no boundaries, no race, no gender, no class etc. So they work the propaganda and push it through the system in the name of equality and love. Keep both parents working and children raised by the system because it's about 'gender equality'. The rest at the bottom suffer greatly with no voice. This is what ruffles Putin's feathers. Putin is doing his best to model his country, as is China, after the Nationalist and sovereign America circa 1940. But globalism is a poison that seeps into the youth and this strikes fear in nationalist sovereign nations. They see the coming threat. This is why the recent reactions to and policies on homosexuality and pornography have come up in Russia. Russia and China have both stated recently that the US was great once but has completely fallen. There is very little respect left. It's really funny when you think about it. Trade the word communism for globalism and it's like the US is becoming what Russia was depicted as, and Russia is in the shoes the US was wearing long ago. We now hold the poison dismantling values and governments with corruption. I did mean what I said about staying out of it. But this does involve Russia at its core. I'm just an average Joe talking, I'm not Secretary of State. America should stay out of this. But our opinions don't even matter so who the fuck are we anyway.

They use slang so even I didn't get what he's saying at first. In reality the dude is telling Roma they somehow wrongly acquired a free gun but now are asked to pay for it yet the finance people are saying this can be only settled through Roma, with the gun being later shown.

Actually 'the little green men' were in Crimea. And they had the right to be there 'cause of treaty between Ukraine and Russia that was about naval bases. There in Donetsk locals made everything by themselves hoping Russsia will send them troops. But that would be illegal. So there is no russian army in Donetsk. Only volunteers from Russia, France, Afganistan and some other countries. Why everyone blames Putin for the shit made by Obama in Ukraine? That's Obama who said americans are exceptional nation and only USA has the right to decide what is right and what is wrong in the world. Look there guys! There's your agressor who sent Blackwater into Ukraine in winter. Of course these guys are private military. But they are taking part in every conflict US started in the world. Speaking of which, would you remind me how many conflicts were started by Russia that are not near russian border-line?
@peterjj199110 жыл бұрын
Sergei Shamanski Have you seen the people who showed up at 31:56 ? Because they were Russian soldiers. BTW, the treaty didn't include the seizure of Ukrainian government buildings in Crimea so they were acting criminally as well, just look at VICE videos from that time.
@Bishop38f810 жыл бұрын
Sergei Shamanski The treaty covers naval bases in Sevastopol, not government buildings and Ukranian military bases in Crimea. Talking about treaties, Russia signed a treaty as well in 1994 Budapest Memorandums - "1.The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their commitment to Ukraine, in accordance with the principles of the Final Act of the Conference on Security and Cooperation in Europe, to respect the independence and sovereignty and the existing borders of Ukraine; 2.The Russian Federation, the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the United States of America reaffirm their obligation to refrain from the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of Ukraine, and that none of their weapons will ever be used against Ukraine except in self-defence or otherwise in accordance with the Charter of the United Nations;" And isn't it kind of strange how all the supposed local officials are all russians? Also - ura.ru/content/chel/01-10-2014/articles/1036263086.html - 90% of the squad are Russians, locals don't want to fight, they fled or are hiding. This is no civil war, never was. Had Russia not intervened, Ukraine could have had a new government already. And if there was some concern in East Ukraine the elected local officials could have negotiated with the central government. I am going to pose this question to you. If an armed group of rebels sprung inside of Russia, claimed a bit of land and called it their sovereign country, A - Do you think Russia would use armed forces to reclaim their land? B - Do you think they would be right to do so? Now me personally, the answer to both is yes.

Correct lyrics 29:43 Партия Ленина - сила народная Нас к торжеству коммунизма ведёт! Partiia Lenina - sila narodnaia Nas k torzhestvu kommunizma vediot! O Party of Lenin, the strength of the people, To Communism's triumph lead us on! They were singing the USSR and not the current Russian federation anthem. 29:59 Сквозь грозы сияло нам солнце свободы, И Ленин великий нам путь озарил, На правое дело он поднял народы, На труд и на подвиги нас вдохновил. Skvoz grozy siialo nam solntse svobody, I Lenin velikij nam put ozaril, Na pravoe delo on podnial narody, Na trud i na podvigi nas vdokhnovil. Through tempests the sunrays of freedom have cheered us, Along the new path where great Lenin did lead. To a righteous cause he raised up the peoples, Inspired them to labour and valourous deed. This song ended with mentioning the victory of communism!

Ironic that they speak of freedom and independence... Look where they are today. its now punishable by 15 years in prison for thinking for yourself? How could anybody back such a pathetic and shameful cause. These monsters will reap what they sow
