A large portion of the music in Vikings is composed and performed by a band called "Wardruna". Just a little heads up Eric, if you happen to see this. All of their music is really, REALLY awesome, in it's own, strangely spiritual way.

They cancelled it after the 3rd season for some reason but after the season is over you should watch the small Vikings mini series (Athelstan's Journal). It was about 15 2-3 minute videos of Athelstan talking about his journey, conflict with the gods, honor, family, etc. He even has many discussions with the seer about the gods.

I can't wait for another show coming out on The History network called Knightfall about The Holy Grail and The Knights Templar I think it's going to be amazing, I'm so excited for it mainly because I LOVE GOT and The Last Crusade and I just started watching Vikings and I'm loving it so far.

the bleeding is called stigmata, most christians believe that faithful followers of christ will experience stigmata or bleeding/ wounds at the same places where christ was crucified. where i come from, people even go as far as crucifying themselves in order for them to feel the same pain christ himself felt when he was crucified. This beliefs are mostly from catholics, not all christians tho

I don't know where Ianne is from but at least in the Philippines there's a long tradition of crucifying yourself in Good Friday. IIRC they walk with the cross like Via Dolorosa and so forth as well.

Okay, I'm confused. I've been binge-watching this on Amazon Prime, and until the nudity scene in Season 1 that was omitted in the so-called "censored" American version that the crew are/were watching, everything has been in sync, until now. The version of this episode I watched didn't have Athelstan chase after and kiss Princess Judith. I was under the impression that the version with missing scenes was the one the crew was watching? Am I missing any other scenes, and if so - how?

I have no clue why the Americans had to see the censored version. Why not just rate it 15 or whatever? In the UK we had the uncensored version air on Amazon Prime Video and it did have Athelstan and Judith kissing.
