Best makeover you've done so far. The use of secondhand furniture (1) gives you better quality than new stuff (2) costs far less (3) forces you to think outside the square (4) saves stuff going to landfill (5) reduces the potential levels of nasty fumes emitted from new stuff (Volatile Organic Compounds) and (6) ensures you have a look that NOONE else has !!!! I make the same resolutions each year but I also do seasonal refreshers. I moved next door to myself and now I'm REALLY purging stuff that I've accumulated over 20 years of moving around while in the military. There is a lot stuff that doesn't spark joy, just anxiety! OUT. IT. GOES!!!

I love this! And, FYI, that's the machine I use to this date--my Mom's old Singer. Best machine ever, even if it is massive. I wish I could borrow you to help me utilize space in my place---I live in a historical building, which is amazing, but it does lend itself to limits---specifically for outlets and phone jacks. But I can't complain--I have half of a gorgeous house, and an enclosed porch. My goal for this year is to declutter and make my space more functional and your YT channel is a huge help!

Great reno In a narrow room! I had a dresser like that, French Provincial, bought at Eaton's in the 1950s. Looks much better toned in pale green and blue. Curtains seriously better than that print one.

Instead of resolutions, I like to choose ONE word to carry me through the year. 2019 was "persistent," and that word enabled me to continue a year of decluttering my home. This year's word is "thankful," which I hope will let me see and appreciate all that I have and am able to do. Happy 2020!

Like many people I have made many resolutions in the past and then didnt really complete. I am now just using January to contemplate what I really need to do to turn my home into a place that makes me happy and not ashamed to invite friends around. I have loads of de-cluttering to do and storage problems. So all this needs to be addressed. So I am looking forward to seeing future videos that could gives me some tips and inspiration. well done, agree with some comments as having an office and small biz storage space is always needed i would have brought the piping unit up to the ceiling or put shelving above to store off season stuff of shopping bags etc. looks great in creating a boudoir theme :-) i actually JUST started 2020 by setting goals not resolutions , already smashing my goals for the first time in my adult life and getting "stuff" accomplished feels great. the GOALS are looked at daily and re-adjusted as the weeks go by.
