I tie the rubber band to a nail in a plank. Then I put the palm on the board, tie it around my fingers and extend the fingers away from the rubber. I do the opposite motion so often in the gym when gripping the weights that it gives me an uneven training of my forearm and wrist. This helps me get better balance and strength. To illustrate.. It's the opposite exercise of squeezing a ball in your hand hard. The fingers work the opposite direction. Should add that the majority of your strength in that area is trained by holding weights and extending your wrist. I just like to include the fingers themselves a little bit. Lastly... If you start strengthening the forearm, whether it's for better grip or otherwise... don't overdo it. Your forearm is not as strong as your bicep. Start slow.

I had Carpal Tunnel surgery some months back, still experiencing numbness, tingling & weakness in my hands, fingers, etc. My left and right pinkies, ring finger won't straighten. Which exercises should I start with or would be best for me? Please Help. Thanks for your service.

I have a super important questions. So my pinky finger is crooked the doctor said it fractured and it’s confirmed fractured with an X-ray and where it starts getting crooked is the joint closes to the nail and it’s bending outwards and the nail and rip of my finger is bending inwards it’s fully healed and is staying in this position since the beginning of the fractured and now after having a splint on for 4 weeks, I don’t know if there’s anyway i can do exercises I can do or any different splint I can order or buy?
