I've been in a similar spot: unable to find a full-time job since graduating and just been doing self-employed work (writing and self-publishing books) since then. It's rough and there are a concerning amount of people going through similar situations too.

since we are living a global crisis, i would totally understand you getting a full time job and having the youtube channel again as a hobby. the streams and videos are always chill and relaxing, also try to finish your studies so you can have more stability. idk if it is posssible but maybe move to somewhere else would be better, We will keep supporting you! and thanks for sharing us the news. and damm all those fluffy POWAH :0

Thx. Education would be tangible, but I'd still be drowning in debt, I'd get a new student loan and it'd add to the debt and insane interest rate, just, idunno, a part of me would only want to 'try to finish my education' once I HAVE stability, not the other way around. It's just Canada sucks ass right now for jobs and for everything else.

Same thing happens around the world, I am having hard time finding a job as well. Mostly because I live in a remote area and relocation is impossible for me due to personal reasons. Ever since 2020 and the pandemic the world has gone to shit, I was told once that the company does not want people who commute at all, and that was a big slap during hard times. Then war came, a lot of ukrainians are taking simple jobs in Poland and they are preferred workforce since employers get bonuses for hiring them etc. Not to mention prices spiked 100% since 2020 and pay increased like 10%.

Remote areas suck, I grew up in a rural village, moved to a suburban area for education but also hoping it'd help raise my chances of getting a job as a teen/young adult (20s). I had trouble getting a job in my teens cause I'd hand out 100 resumes and get no responses, I assumed it was a lack of experience like the stereotypical meme of "Need work? No we want experience! - BUT I NEED THE JOB TO GET EXPERIENCE!" And my job opportunities also dwindle because I do not have a car and cannot drive. I lived in a family unit where my father taught my brother and sister how to drive and helped them get enough experience to pass and get comfortable, he died before he could train me, and I couldn't rely on my siblings or mother to help me drive or train - because my mother was a Screaming Backseat Driver type, my sister moved out and my brother, someone I didn't get along with either way, was also always busy. So I'm stuck in a hard place without the asset of Driving to give me more opportunities and easier travel, the only upside is not paying the costs of cars/insurance/maintenance, as I'd not be able to afford it.

Well, if was so difficult, Car do provide a great deal of isolation from the world outside. However turning one into a gaming setup is not practical and can be expensive. So, for now, I guess good luck hunting for a job and maybe a better place to stay.

Thx, well, the last resort is getting Welfare and hoping they give me enough to get by and maybe pay off the debts slowly 'while' looking for a job. I just never wanted to rely on such services, but I'd rather rely on Welfare than to need to rely on my parents at my age.

Thank you, but, unsure what help I could ask for besides needing a job that pays so I can save up my money and try to move on with life. I'll need to somehow build up like, $8K, or $10K spendable cash probably. but thats like, ontop of the 5K I owe my bank, 3K I owed my mother, 6K my 'IRS' tells me I owe. The irony is, I live a Minimalist life and don't 'spend frivolously', I don't go out buying stupid expensive things, I just buy coffee, bread/food, games and fast food here and there Yet a Minimalist-Hermit like me is burdened with financial problems.
